I know tow hooks is a worn out subject, but I was wondering if I were to weld them to the frame instead of bold them would they be as strong? Ive been struggling with putting them on, I guess Im too lazy to remove the front bumper (which is what I think you are supposed to do) to be able to bolt them on.
If anyone has some experience with this, let me know.

You don't want to weld them. If the weld breaks they fly.. If you bolt them in, they have a less chance of breaking free.

It pretty much depends on how much you trust your welding skills.

BUT, if you do any wheelin in ORV parks, many of them won't allow welded tow hooks. They would prefer to trust a couple of bolts over your welds. :D

Yeah, don't weld your tow hooks on, that's a good way to get someone hurt. Bolts are your friend.

Ok, thats kinda what I figured. Thanks for the advice. Looks like the front bumper is coming off
