very front of your explorer.
In front of the AC condenser, but behind the grille

anybody have a picture? i do have a small radiator in front of my main radiator and it's on the left side if you're facing the vehicle.

SWEET. so explain this to me. i purchased my mountaineer and it didnt have any kind of hitch or anything like that but i got a hitch from a parted out explorer and got the wiring harness from NAPA when i realized that the factory wires that connect to the harness up under the bumper are already there and now i realized that i have the tranny cooler. do you think the original hitch may have gotten yanked at some point? or is there a possibility that the wires and the tranny cooler came as standard or separate options from the tow pakage?

the tranny cooler is factory.. w/ or w/out a trailer towing package. I know whenver I've had a vehicle with a hitch i took it off b4 sending the truck down the road.

Explorers & Mountaineers did not come equiped with receiver hitch until 2002 in the four door models. The Sports I think still used the ball in the bumper.
