transmission solenoid pack

Hello I have an 02 explore awd 4 door. I replaced the solenoid pack because it was having shifting problems. It was a rebuilt I bought and I installed it and now the o/d is still flashing and it won't shift out of first and reverse is slow to engage. Any help would be great.

did you disconnect the battery BEFORE installing the solenoid packs? did you cycle the key after reconnection of the battery?

Regardless... Disconnect the battery overnight. Then Positive first, then negative... Start the truck and DRIVE it... let the ECU's relearn...

it should adjust... 4.0 or 4..6... I didn't look at your profile... 4.6 this should work... 4.0 I hvae no clue.

Its a 4.0 and I did the battery and all the stupid ****
