well i'd suggest checking it out, do the test and see if you need it. Have some one or something hold down your gas peddle to the floor and take off the intake tube to look how open you TB is mine was like 70% open explained alot about how my truck preformed

He just did that with the xcal---

Eric--any data yet?

i never let electronices tell me what mechanical things do ;) some times there is a margin of error

True
however if the throttle position sensor shows max value-it can go no further.

Therefore, the throttle is all the way open--

Okay and I just got a code today, as I was driving to work the check engine light came on, so I thought maybe the TPS so anyways I stop by autozone and the scanner read
P0506....Idle Control System RPM Lower Than Expected. But My car doesnt idle low or surge. This came on after I put on the CAI. My car idles where it always did before and it doesnt drop.
Iam sure this has to do with the low performance because the pcm thinks the car is idle lowering than it really is?

Some motorcycles come with an exhaust valve. ie. Yamaha R1, Honda CBR1000, etc.

My TPS reads WOT at about %90 open so its not always the best way to look at it.

Whoa--don't be bashing th intake just yet--

your idle problem may be due to the new throttle body you threw on there--

you did do an extensive mod there--and it may need and adjustment--

Haha so does my back!

Well I will fiddle with it and re-set the computer drive it around... see what happens..

Ditto, and double check the TPS voltage, make sure that it isn't way too low or too high at idle.
