What engine do I have ???

I know that sounds weird, however, I'm not sure if I have the OHV or the SOHV engine in my X.

I have a 2001 Explorer Sport 4X4 Automatic Tanny....

well I believe the 2001 Explorer sport was available with both the OHV and the SOHC, so you wont know for sure until you open your HOOD and then it should say SOHC on the little plastic thingy.

i'm thinking the 01 sports are all SOHC. didn't think OHV was an option anymore.

Apparently on the sports it wasn't an option but on the 4 door models, it was an option.. Who knows.
