I have a 78 ford bronco with american racing rims on it. Would these wheels fit on a 98 ford bronco? The wheel size I believe is 15x8.

from what I know.. and thats no much about wheels is that it all depends on your X.. I don't think they'd fit my 98 sport. I know this since I got a flat once when I had my 88 bronco and my spare was flat and my friend who had a 94 X took off his spare and the lug holes were totally off.

No, the hole pattern is different.

All explorers (I'm not sure about the 2002) use a 5 lug 4-1/2" bolt pattern, a 78 Bronco uses a 5 lug on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. I am not sure but I believe that all Bronco I's including fullsize and Early Bronco, use the 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. The Bronco II then switched to the 5 lug on 4-1/2" bolt pattern that would carry over when the Explorer replaced the Bronco II.
