Yeah ive always hated torsions. Ill get some quick cell phone pics in a little bit. Front track width came out to be 85.5", but im gonna run some different offset wheels to bring that back to 84" which isnt bad at all.

I HATE my torsion bars.

Don't know what the backspacing is but i have four stock 2nd gen rims if you need them.

Thanks dude, kinda looking for the 1st gen ones with all the holes that resemble the mickey thompson wheels. trying to suck the wheel in a much as i can to help not snap snouts in half. That would not be a fun ride...:D

gen I wheels are 7" wide = sucks sucks your 12.50 tires = wear out down the middle and handle like crap on 7" rims

Alot of the racers run thier 35's on a 7" wheel. Poor mans beadlocks is what they call them lol. Ill probably keep what i have for the street and get a set of 15x7 stockers and some 33x12.5 MTR's for the dirt and races.

I have 33x12.5 on 7.5" wide wheels, I would NEVER run this setup again, 7" wheel = SUCK SUCK

Can only put them at 26-28 psi, anything more the side lugs never hit ground, the ride is horrible and tires dont last at all.....no traction when your contact patch is the size of a golfball.....

Just my 02!
those 5 spoke chrome rims i ran on my BII and now on my Explorer are 15x7.5" I love the look, hate the wheels... they are currently for sale, I finally saved and ordered myself some 17x9" rims for the exploder, the BII is on 15x10's for a few years now

Also I wheeled the piss out of my BII with chrome 7.5" wide rims, with 12.5" tires = no marks! it does indeed protect the wheel and at 4psi I never lost a bead! but 7" = pushing it

7" rim + 12.5 tire = sucks IMO
but at least you are now informed

Jeeps maybe have some 15x8 with like negatice backspacing LOL

Are your snouts really that weak? UPGRADE to 4x4 snouts??????

Doesnt the gen II 2wd use hub assemblies like the gen II 4x4?

I am cornfused at what knuckle spindle you are running??? I know Gen I guys with beams or 2wd Ranger dudes are always upgrading to our D35 ttb spindles?

Running fabtech spindles which use the weak factory 2wd snouts. Im sure they will be fine with the right offset wheels and regular maint of the bearings. I ran out of money or we were gonna do a fabbed spindle with d35 snouts and hubs.

I see :)

when you need some D35 spindles let me know, I have spares for my spares

After playing around in some fields and gravel roads i need to revalve the shocks before i do anything major. It's way to bouncy so i need to stiffen the rebound in the front and lighten it in the rear. While im at it im gonna try the same valving i ran before in the front for compression.

didnt get home till dusk and the camera died after this pic. i will get way more in the morning,

Looks awesome! That glass looks to be the perfect width too. How'd it handle and where did you go?
