Could you add a 3" 30 degree pipe (With another silicone joiner), then put the reducer after that?
I know it wouldn't look as clean as you'd like, and you might not have enough room.

im literally holding on the phone with jegs to see if they might have one that i couldnt find on their page. its going to suck to if they have one because i already have parts coming from them

Flex-A-Lite digital controller. the funny story (and i will try to keep it short) was i had this fan kit when i had my capri. bought it used, called them looking for a wire harness for the old controller, and needed a mount kit. by the time i got off the phone with them, i had a new digital controller, wire harness for it, and 2 different mount kits on their way free of charge. they even paid for the shipping! from that day forward i have always told people to buy their stuff because of that customer service.



ive always tried to keep my engine bays tidy with are the wires tied up and loomed, and not hanging out everyplace and things looking like it was tossed together.



i agree. that one has taken a beating. i think i have had it for 8 years now, have collapsed it more then one time when i have forgotten to take the bag off it and starting it after pressure washing under the hood. it is also a amsoil filter, just cant remember which one. dono ordered it for me years ago

I use a flex a lite 180 black magic extreme 3300 cfm with their variable speed controller
Works flawlessly

I spray water methanol and nitrous together and before the supercharger. Helps cool the supercharger down too.
And no the water methanol doesn't freeze. LOL
I don't recommend spraying after the supercharger unless you go with direct port so it is even for all cylinders.

ive had it on and off so many times i have lost count. i have however ran the boost reference vacuum lines, i have also mounted the adapter that i had to cut, angel and reweld, the throttle body is going to have to go on upside down because either the bracket for the cables, or iac hit the brake master cylinder, the maf, intake tube and air filter have also been fitted and clear everything (even with the 4 inch tube it just makes it past the power steering reservoir and abs lines after a little bending). was starting to make a tube to connect the egr to the blower but i couldnt take the heat any longer. i also shoved my fat finger into the hole thats already in the valve cover to see how much room is between the poly locks and the top of the valve cover. i should be able to squeak a thin peace of alum in there for a baffle. just have to pull the valve cover off and take it to someone that welds alum. tomorrow my oil separator should be here so it can to open a new can of worms for me to deal with.
i also took about a 1/4 off the studs that will hold down both valley pan and mount. just like i was hoping i can put both the mount and blower on in one shot. i would have taken picture of everything but the camera melted.

at a bit of a stand still right now. after looking at everything, i figured out if i ever have to take this apart (god forbid) at some point down the line, or if i ever have to pull the valve cover on the passengers side, i will have a hard time doing it because of the innercooler line. i had to order a -12AN 45 degree coupler.....that one fitting alone is 45 bucks!!!!! i also was looking at the coil bracket and i dont think it will stand up and crack over time so i am trying to make a beefier one. ive also started to "bodywork" the throttle body adapter i made using jb weld. yes, jb weld. there are two reasons for this, first i will be getting it painted and didnt want all the welds to look like crap, and second if there are any pin holes in the welds, the jb weld will seal them up. i also had to kiss my egr system good by. i wanted it in there, but the pipe i was trying to make would have such a sharp bend in it, i wouldnt be able to get the bolts out. the good news the block is now heli coiled, and thats all back together now.
i thought this might only take a couple of weekends, but i think i may have under estimated that time.....whoops.

throttle body adapter is primed, sanded and ready to be painted along with the intake tube. would have taken a pic of the tube, but its boring looking so will have to wait till its done. once again, the adapter was bodyworked with jb weld which is not easy to spread around let alone sand. its not perfect but will look great when the hood is closed

also remade the coil bracket as well

not so big and bulky now either. you would be amazed what you can make from a old bed frame. that and its way thicker then the first one. i will get it powder coated locally. i would get john to do it, but with everything the way it is now who knows how long it would take to get to him, and get back to me. otherwise it would be headed down to humboldt kansas

Yesterday we patched some rusty spots on a 1968 Ford F250...........guess where the metal came from??......good guess but no no not an old bed frame but some old shelving units.

been a busy week. was able to buy back a v8 limited i owned 3 1/2 years ago from the lady that bought it from me. long story short, she was only able to drive it for 6 months, and only put 5000kms on it (3100 miles) then her licenses was pulled then she stored it at a friends place.......in a bush......for 3 years......with the sunroof cracked open a 1/4 inch.....basicly i made 900 for driving it 30 min to home (it ran like a top to!) and vacuuming out a mouse nest from the air filter box, and oh, it was only for sale for 2 days. not my record for selling something, but the 3rd fastest.

now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

battery relocation is done now as well

i bought a battery tray from summit for something like 30 bucks to start with. figured it would be easier to start with one that fit (right) a explorer battery then start from scratch.

also the way i was going to mount it i couldnt use the hold downs it cam with, so once again using the old bed frame cut a chunk off it, welded a nut onto it. now i can use the factory bolt and hold down.

then came the chopping

and after moving a wire harness under the hood as well as now i will have to find a new place for my HID ballast as well as fan controller and fuse, its in. and tight to!

i also pulled the drivers side valve cover off to see how much room there will be for a baffle. its not too bad. maybe a 1/4 or less inch to play with, so thats going to get dropped off to a welder tomorrow, as well as the battery tray, coil bracket and eaton intake elbow will be going to someone locally to get powder coated (why do i feel so guilty not sending them down to Jon????)
one of my old neighbours that i still keep in touch with is really good at air brushing, so he picked up the throttle body adapter on friday and will be painting those for me as well.

so now that leaves me with mounting the innercooler pump someplace, however i think that will have to wait for a bit as well. after laying under the truck the rad that dono gave me years ago that he was going to use when he was going to innercool hes old truck is too big to fit up front without doing some major cutting. and i really dont want to hack up evil either. so i ordered a new one as well as a remote rad cap from frozenboost and is on its way here. i also still have to buy some more -12AN fittings and braided line but i wont do that until i have everything in place and can sorta map it out, cause that crap is $$$$

everyone has told me that. trust me, i want to however, in winter time i have to back it right up to my shed so i can get past it with my snowblower and i dont drive it much in the winter, but i do take it for a run to get everything moving and aired out. if the battery goes dead (and it does) i would have no way to boost it. that and also with my subs and amps in the back once again it leave me little room for much in the back. add a battery in there, and no room for anything else

was able to get a baffle welded into the valve cover

its not that big, like 2 inch by two inch, and probably clears the poly locks by.....well, hairs, as well i had to cut a 1/8 off the grommet and added it to the pcv valve to bring it up a little higher. im hoping that will work.

i also just got my parts back from coating

i am also going to take a step backwards as well. i am once again going to be cutting up the throttle body adapter i made. i started thinking that i would have to fudge the silicon that joins the throttle body to the intake tube that it would not only look funny, but also has a chance of falling off because of the angle they would be at, it would be better to just cut and rework the adapter instead. it may also give me room not to have to bolt the throttle body on upside down, but time will tell with that. im trying to get as much done as i can because time right now is scarce, between working the shift i do, bought yet another truck to flip, and the heat we have been having lately there are very small windows to get r done

well its the long weekend. was wanting to get all the mock up done, and finally start putting everything together for the final time. i would have been able to as well if it wasnt for canada post sending parts that i have been waiting on to a town a hour away from me.....
with that said, the a battery box is in now, i relocated my fan controller over to the drives fender apron, and i have now moved all the wires i have to for the battery over to the passengers side. still trying to find a good spot for the innercooler pump. not easy because it has some good size to it, so i can hide it in between the fender and fender apron like i did with the meth pump. i did get the throttlebody adapter and tube back from my old neighbour last night, and just put it on to see how it looks, and if everything is still happy about being where it will be
