They are all discontinued and de-listing just means that all the spares of that particular part are gone. I found the same thing rounding up parts for (at the time) 20+ year old Chev van. I could only get three of four door hinges.
Not obsolete because they were used till '11 in the Rangers, and there are tons of them on the road.Off topic but try finding a torsion bar for a 97-03 f150. Considered obsolete. nothing out there for a fix if one should break.
But the explorer t bars are not obsolete, still available for '95

Finished up making the shroud this evening. Ran out of time to get it installed. That's how life is lately. Plan plan plan, & do what ya can. To make this work, and get the sides to sit flush against the Rad, more cutting & welding was required. The 5.0 shroud is way too big (depth) for a 3"...www.explorerforum.com
Yes, it will work. They just changed a sleeve in the u-joint from metal to rubber, everything else is the same.
Lower Steering Shaft
I've found quite a bit of play in steering on my 2001 Sport Trac, and traced it to the lower steering shaft. I thought I had found a replacement in a junkyard, from a 3rd generation Explorer/Mountaineer. But closer inspection shows the parts are different. See picture comparing the two...
