I didn't notice much of a loss in acceleration at all, keep in mind I have the 5.0L where as you have the 4.0L.. pretty big difference in torque between the two.
As for going back to 235's, hell no..
1. No.
2. My old tires were toast, the two rear wouldn't keep air in them.. one of them had a plug... all 4 were almost bald.
3. No. I love my 31" BFG's... =D
4. No.
IMO, the 235's are wayy too small.. it's ridiculous.. looks like someone put a bunch of spare tires on it from a car...
These 31's are Perfect, gives it more of a truck like look/feel.
