Ok i put the 4" lift on and my 4x4 does not engage now. Is there a correlation between the two or not. I did an inventory on the parts they sent me and i was missing some kind of square metal tubing, approximately 1.5x1.5x3 with one bolt hole in the center. Do any of you know what those were for? and Whats up with the lift affecting my 4wd?

doesnt sound liek the lift is the problem, unless you accidnetally unplugged some harness somewhere and forgot to plug it back in

there shouldnt be any steering extension with a 4" lift, maybe a dropped pitman. Extensions are for BL's. Who makes the kit? And its doubtful that the 4x4 not working is connected to the lift, unless you didnt reassemble the auto engagement if its auto 4x4.

The parts you describe sound to me like the bump stop extensions, that is probably what you are missing.
Im not sure why your 4x4 would stop working after the lift, does the light turn on when you push the button? Can you hear the relay click in the back? I too agree that the lift would not affect the 4x4 engagement unless something was unplugged or damaged in the process. Could just be coincidence that it failed after the lift.

thats what i was thinking, its definatly the bumpstop extensions, thats exactly what they look like.

THe light definintely turns on and nothing happens. I put it in 4x4 took it for a drive and then put it up on blocks to see if its working and nothing happens just a clicking noise in the passenger hub area. I have auto hubs, thats probably my first problem.

Yea that sounds like a problem then, obviously the shaft was turning? When you did the lift, were the auto hubs installed correctly? If it worked prior to the lift then you may want to inspect the Hub. Manual hubs would be the way to go tho.
