Pics are great
Videos are better! They are coming I will be eating sleeping breathing this truck for the next week until I am sure she is set for the road

This sucker will be all over Youtube when she gets home
His channel is quite awesome,,,,,,, Eddies other car..have you seen?.........his Holden?....oh my. They will be quite a pair parked side by side. Too bad you can only drive one at a time hahaha

FAR from stock

That's a great looking truck, the fenders fit beautifully.

now the rear axle track width closely matches the front
Thank God, now it doesn't look like the track of a Chevy truck!
Very choice indeed.

Thank you! The 64” rear leafs and shackle flip put the rear axle in the perfect spot for the wide body bedsides
Exhaust tips, speedometer adjust, front can mounts, front bump stops, camera fine tuning…. Couple days worth of work pffft no problem
She had started every single time I turn the key, sounds the same each time. Shifts great, brakes and strong, no leaks, she’s been wheeling in thr back yard and now detailed in the city. Several heat cycles and no leaks on the ground
I’m gonna miss this truck! Something tells me she will be back for more mods,
I keep trying to get Eddie to move closer hahaha then she can just be in our “fleet”

Well done. Stunning build- well worth the wait! Eddie will enjoy it.

in the next week we are doing final cut and buff of paint, adjusting the front suspension height, and getting an alignment.

Fingers crossed, I'll be joining you on that part. Got my new engine finished up last weekend, and suspension hopefully set where it is alignable. It's close now, just needs to be dialed in. With my work schedule I won't have time to do it myself, but hoping that dad can get in dropped off and done for me this week.

It'll be driveable, but won;t look near this good.

I covered the photo paper with clear packing tape (believe
It or not)
I believe it. I've used the poor man's laminator many times.

Looking great already. Can't wait to see it after the cut and buff and Eddie's finishing touches (IE: rear bumper).

Outstanding!!:chug:

At same time as rear bumper I would “trim” back the front bumper and side rails. These parts were not designed with the oversized wheel arches in mind. Nothing a grinder welder, cad template, and some paint cannot fix.
I have a back bumper design in mind and my friend will cut the parts out and send them to me cheap hahahaha right Scott? Hahaha. Pics with the truck outside coming asap

What’s Eddie’s YouTube channel?

Beautiful. Marvelous.

What’s Eddie’s YouTube channel?
I'm a bit behind uploading but I'll be catching up. The Blue car is mine. The rest are friends cars

Now that it's complete and finished.... How much do you want?! LOL:thumbsup:

Great looking truck. Enjoy it to the fullest.

Everything is for sale if the price is right. Work like this, 410 should have his own show on Discovery.

I’m looking forward to having a 410
Website w all My Builds and maybe an instagram some tik tok videos this is something I plan to do with my son and his pals as they are now getting to driving age. My son is amazing editor and video producer already at 15 his instagram is quite successful but the stuff we do here with trucks will take it to another level. I’m still doing a little elevator stuff we have one lingering job (thank goodness) and we are going to write a book. Otherwise my life is finally shifting towards custom builds 24/7 365

Eddie will Also help me with this venture he is already setup with his channel and some
Bomb photo equipment, automotive Sponsors, so this truck will be showcased quite well! I hope to see it back here for camping trips and we can take it to the Mountain Mafia private off road park after hours and shake it down!

Final buff did happen today man oh man
Some Touch up paint tomorrow… final details

IMG_2259.jpeg

Seen here next to a stock 05 ranger sport sohc rwd, poor thing
IMG_2266.jpeg

Fuel door needed some shims and the filler neck area was drilled and prepped for
Bedliner
IMG_2260.jpeg

Had to make a template and drill some mounting holes

IMG_2261.jpeg

IMG_2262.jpeg

Hard to see holes marked
You can see how hole saw was used to make opening round

Masked and wiped w alcohol prep for coating

First coat enamel
IMG_2283.jpeg

Onto the bedside supports. The stock ranger supports too short for the glass
So I had to fabricate some supports

Carefully flattened, measured and designed to push out on the glass quite a bit. Bolts at fender side hidden best as possible

IMG_2279.jpeg

How they fit, yes they are painted black
IMG_2280.jpeg

Using factory hardware on truck side, stainless on fender
IMG_2281.jpeg

Now some shots of the paint
Some
Minor touch up and clear in spots tomorrow

IMG_2290.jpeg

IMG_2291.jpeg

Still set at Half a degree negative camber = perfect
Will Adjust toe and she’s streetable for some highway runs

IMG_2282.jpeg

Changed rear emblem blue oval!!! Truck is the color of the ford oval

Ac held vacuum for 5 days rock solid needle did not move so I would say we are good to charge
I will clean the orifice tube and charge the system

Fender supports, fuel door and tail lights final installed including all touch up blue and clear

Messing around w some el cheapo exhaust tips. The exhaust will get re worked later Eddie wants some fancy cutouts and likely some big tips with exits on both sides
So for now I’m just tacking on some downturns

IMG_2299.jpeg

Painted w bedliner door shimmed for clearance

This is how I planned to terminate the pipes, I try to keep things up and away from rocks…

Had to mod the clamp on tips for a cleaner look
IMG_2323.jpeg

With a custom rear bumper the tailpipes will get re done
I will keep these ones around hahaha

IMG_2255.jpeg

His truck was outfitted with a factory bed extender. I am transferring the hardware over to the black box. Ford did not tap the holes! Hahaha silly…

Goes here

My dad and son came by the shop today.. I was able to show this truck to my father after telling him about the build for the last 5 years.
He is impressed with the truck, mostly that we did the paint in house and the engine bay, seats and custom exhaust.
It was awesome!

I didn’t realize you painted it in house too. That’s next level

I LOVE that this truck still has a rake to it, instead of being perfectly leveled.

I've put 100 miles on her
It drives awesome! The Holley is in learn mode
It will hold first gear up to 6K because the 302 is still making power at those rpm.
The stock computer is very tame compared to the Holley
and it has not even been tuned or done learning, we are in break in period for trans, brakes, cam, gears and more
I did alignment adjustment, that was fun. I had to shave 1/4 off each of the tie rod extenders from the true Travel kit to bring toe to 0 and have adjustment left. Camber is set to -0.5 degrees per side and toe is set to 1/4" toe in total

I am frantic, ball of nerves, I am used to this drill...but this truck is a bit extra

Eddie coming to town late tonight
I had to completely re wire the a/c
I also had to rewire the reverse lights, hahaha I had the circuit going in a loop never reaching the lights

The big one that I was losing sleep over is the dang fuel gauge................. it reads backwards. Empty is full
I tried everything wiring wise to solve it, I believe the gauge in the cluster is just bad. I have read others having same issue with 05+ clusters (HEC, Microprocessor). While test driving I figured I would fill her up....imagine my surprise when I got back in the truck and the needle went to E and th low fuel light came on. There is one wire from the sender to the cluster and the other side is a ground. Reversing polarity does nothing as we are dealing with a resistance circuit. I haver correct ohms for 3/4 tank yet the gauge reads near empty.......... so Im going to try and swap clusters today. I worked on this for I think 10 hours straight until my eyes were blurry and I could no longer rear the labels on the wires

That was a fun day!
Reverse lights working, AC is charged and working. I'm battling the fuel gauge and the chinese camera system.............more on this later.
Today she's getting front bump stops and suspension adjusted.

Monday she drives 6+ hours to home
It drives and sounds awesome................. Eddie will be here this weekend we will get some video of us driving it around!!!
Who needs sleep?

Stay tuned!!

Could it be the wrong sending unit for the gauge cluster you are using?
