Welp as some already know i had a little argument with a Fence pole this AM after i was finish unloading at my Delivery point. in this particular place the Entry/Exit way is very tight when you are maneuvering a 73 foot long Semi truck through it. upon trying to exit the Facility i tried to stay as wide as i could to the curb while exiting but the first attempt was a no go. So i backed up and tried again getting even closer this time to the curb and finally was able to get the trailer around the guard shack on the right side.
(I have trailers on my left side)

And yes i knew the Fence pole was coming close to the fender so i turned the wheel to the right and thought i had cleared it. But then i hear a big crunch :( back up again and got out and surveyed the damage to find the front fender flatten, bumper bent forward at a 45 degree angle the turn signal assy gone almost completely. And Some supoport brackets bent and twisted up under the fender. But Luckily no bent Mechanical parts or any thing like that whew.

Oh and the fence pole you ask? it's fine did not bend or anything but i left a blue swatch of paint on it tho.

Working on the photo's right now

Well, get the pickett, signal blanks for the turn signal, 379 fenders are pretty cheep, and get a boxed end bumper and she will be good as new!!!! Whats the WB on the 379 and are you hauling a reefer, skateboard or wagon?

Dunno where about the WB on this thing but it pretty much a standard Peterbilt 379 with the long hood and 63 in sleeper.

as for the trailer i pull a 53 foot dry van.

Well at least it's rubber side down:D

aint that the truth....
