First of all the car looks great! Lower it about 1" - 1.5" and it will look really mean.

Ok, there are two words being thrown around in here that makes me think I missed something.
1. Wife
2. Husband

:feedback:

Let's see...due to the amount of driving that I do, I still want my drive comfort so I stuck with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Just checked, got close to 116k on his odometer now.

And the two words....hmmmm. I guess I can fill you in. ;) By the State of Texas, we are considered common law married (bought the house together, bank account together, bills in both names, etc.) and we have always considered ourselves married, just never really had the piece of paper or ceremony.

We have talked about it, know where we are going to have it, know that we are getting Mudd***** ordained online so he can perform the ceremony ;) , and pretty much who we are inviting to the ceremony...the big question is.....WHEN? And if ya'll can ask SVO when that might be, I'd appreciate it. ;) :p:

EEE to be ordained... :dead:

To bad you guys are in Texas.

My wife got ordained a few years ago so she could mary her freind. Now she makes a litlle extra money on weekends marrying people.

So what is the two years an anniversary of, exactly? ;)

It was the anniversary of knowing that we didn't want anyone else and we were off the market. ;)

I think it looks good. JDraper said it was slow compared to his, is that true?

(hides)

Actually, it is true. :( Draper has the Mach I and I have the GT model, which is the 4.6 16 valve engine. I know the Cobra's have the 4.6 32 valve and that may be what's in the Mach I as well. Not too sure about the Mach's...sorry Draper. :p:

My dyno sheet says that I am running 274.2 rwt and 235.9 rwhp and that was just with my catback. I have more mods now like a ported intake, K&N, and CAI. And I am positive that this new bumper will give me at least 5 more hp. :D ;)

Whats the fastest you've driven your car? (shh I wont tell haha).

Thats weird only 2 valves per cylinder

The cobra is supercharged right?

Ok I searched adn found:

The Mustang GT coupe ($23,245) and Mustang GT convertible ($27,585) come with a 4.6-liter V8 with single overhead cams and two-valves per cylinder rated at 260 hp at 5250 rpm and 302 lbs.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. To manage all that power, GT models are equipped with gas-pressure shocks with unique model calibrations, P245/45R17 performance tires on 17-inch alloy painted wheels, a Traction Loc rear axle, ABS and traction control. GTs come with sport bucket seats and fog lamps. The V8 mates with a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox with a tall fifth gear for improved fuel economy. A four-speed automatic ($815) is optional. Optional audio systems include the MACH 460 ($550) with in-dash 6-CD changer and the MACH 1000 ($1,295).

The Mach 1 boasts a high-performance 310-hp 4.6-liter V8 with dual overhead-cams and four valves per cylinder. Mach 1 gets a sports suspension (stiffer springs, special shocks and struts, lower ride height). Distinguished by its black shaker hood, the Mach 1 ($5,575) is treated as a package. It also comes with special 17-inch wheels, special leather-trimmed seats, special interior trim, in-dash six-disc CD stereo, and special exterior graphics.

The Cobra is powered by the supercharged SVT 4.6-liter V8 from Ford's Special Vehicle Team. The SVT V8 produces 390 horsepower at 6000 rpm, with 390 pounds-feet of torque at 3500 rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Cobra comes shod with P275/40R17 tires and loaded with special interior and exterior trim.

I thought I had read somewhere that the MACH I's had 3 valves per cylinder.

I'll kick in some info here.. The 03-04 Mach has an aluminum block, aluminum head 10.25:1 compression 32 valve DOHC 4.6 liter motor that was underrated at 305-310 hp by Ford because they were afraid of another debacle similar to the overrating of the 99-01 Cobra motors, and because they didn't want it to seem to be too close to the 03-04 Terminators. The cars actually were closer to 325 crank hp from the factory.

My particular Mach has been mildly modified and dyno'd 302 hp/327 ft-lb torque which equates to roughly 365 crank hp and 395 ft-lb torque at the crank.

And if y'all want Mach overload...we had over 70 at the AFN's this year...

And mine is different to a point...Mine didn't come with the traction lock option...who needs traction? :p: I also have the MACH 460 stereo. I have 273 gears and get approximately 23-25 mpg on daily driving. Can't beat that for a sports car with 116k miles. ;)

We took a little road trip back in the summer of 2005. We had the cruise set on 110mph for about an hour or so going to Moab. Scared the crap out of me when a Navajo Police Officer passed us going the other way, but he didn't even flinch...if only I had the camera on at that time. :D
