Are there services or ways to chrome parts? I know engine parts are common... what about interior or exterior trim pieces?

...for metals, it is a chemical process done in a controlled invironment....for plastics, it can be done with chrome paint found at most auto parts stores in rattle cans...;)

rattle cans are the way to go! (=

There are company's which do this sort of work

http://www.kiindustries.com/finish.htm

It involves vacu -forming a copper layer onto the part for electrolysis.
There is a company which specializes in car parts-but the name slips my mind right now. I think I saw it on the "My Classic Car" Tv program.
