jus lmk! if you only plan to weld thin/mild thickness steel, cant beat the HF flux welder imo. no gas to buy, and for the price, cant beat it!
Just heard about that the other day, I've never done any of it, closest I've done is soldering, so I'm still researching how the different kinds work, tips and tricks, etc.. I'd like thick, but I'd probably just make it match the bumper, I don't rock crawl really, just the random stump or something while mudding lol

That's actually cheap enough I may do that real soon...

its no miller TIG but for what it is and the price its hard to beat it, especially if its not a frequent use weekend warrior kinda use

For sure, it'll be a few projects but not constant use or anything, appreciate it!

Sorry I keep bringing this back, stopping, and repeating. Officially, the Rado is pretty much on hold and a good steady daily driver, only thing I've got in progress with it now is the A/C finally, the Mazda is just going to sit a while with fluids on the pistons. AND best of all, the driveway is open, least sorta, so I'm looking around for some engine lifts and stands now. So I can start taking the engine bay more apart and hopefully get a better idea what all needs to be done and hopefully can actually start doing crap, want it done by the end of August, not sure I can, but I'm going to do my best, also looking at some used SOHCs around to maybe just swap right in after some basic maintenance stuff. Which if I can do that, I may do a 4.0 SOHC in the mazda too afterall since I'd have a spare engine to build.

Went out for a bit of mud, first time through this pit I found it to be much softer than anticipated, almost getting myself stuck. So the video only covers the front half of the mud, but I've got a few pics of her. Would've liked some more mud, but most of the pits were too soft to even think about attempting, only the one real decent one

You do like that mud!!! GPS sent me through a muddy intersection a couple weeks ago - the road was closed and the excavator had dug a bit in the middle. Wasn't too deep, went right through boy those tires were muddy. Proud of my stock Ex!

Oh yeah! Love some mud, just wish I could get out to it more like I used to! Working too much and now making sure I have a second vehicle in case I break anything! Lmao
But also glad yours made it right through! Definitely bet that was some soft stuff since it was freshly worked in!

Alright, so, I managed to find a kit of the oem ford parts, so I nabbed it and seems to be legit. So, X is back in progress! Going to an auction on the 10th to see about a good but cheap Pittsburgh 2 ton hoist for the engine, that just leaves me to get the Camshaft tools or what not, the engine stand, engine leveler, gasket kit, and maybe a few other things like the a/c compressor, aluminum t-stat housing. But she's coming back sooner than later! Definitely need her ready for a snow trip in December!
Anything else yall suggest nabbing or doing?

nevermind :( next time next time ::D
I barely got the money to be fixing one ****box, let alone all three, so yeah, not throwing $2k at a supercharger kit that doesn't even include the supercharger, but good try, a rebuild and a tune will be enough power added for me lmao

fair, fair. ive only got one (at the moment...) to take care of hahahaha! the SOHC is already in a great state of tune factory, so idk how much youll get out of a tune, being honest (without supporting mods liek upsize TB, MAF, exhaust, bleh bleh)

Well that's the plan, I want to upgrade some stuff while it's apart, like said, I've got the K&N air intake as a start, but I do plan to redo the exhaust at some point, not sure about that FM Super10 muffler I got sitting around. A tune always helps, especially when a vehicle is a quarter of a century old lmao

I want to give it more volume bost mostly deeper and rumbly, a V8 sounding V6 pretty much. Probably keeping the cats to avoid the rasp so much, so may a 44 ya think? Got dual 44s on the 350

I can send you clips of my borla. I think for me it strikes a nice balance of driveability and noise. At idke you can tell its not stock, driving you can tell but its still allowingbof a conversation but if i jump on it you cant hear anything else 😂😂😂😂 chanbered mufflers sound good on these but imo i like a larger glasspack to smooth it out. but if you want a v8 like runble then chamber is the way to go 👍

Gonna be annoying trying to get a V8 sound truly from a V6, but I still may try and run that super 10 with a resonator to help with the rasp. That glass pack gonna have ya sounding like a tin can on bicycle! Lmao

Idk I'm really happy with my proXS... cherry bombs dont sound to good on it. but if you want more noise then yeah a FM would be good. Ive never gotten anything close to a v8 on a sixer, try some h pipe i think, theres a built OHV somewhere on youtube that ws the closest ive heard.

I'll take it and talk to an exhaust shop, see how close I can get lmao

Alright, so, found a SWEET junkyard X I'm going to try and nab stuff off of, a '99 with really low miles, that I'm going to grab the drivetrain for a donor for mine! May not even have to do the chains hopefully, either way doing tensioners at least, and then I'll rebuild my engine and tranny to throw into the mazda I guess? But I need some assistance, so the donor rig is a 2wd, and I want to keep its engine and tranny together if possible, so the engine I know will just swap right in, but the transmission, can I just swap the tail shafts so I can keep the 4wd? Or do I have to just keep my 4wd tranny? Note that I'm talking about the 5r55e
