I'd gain access to the motor connector on the pump motor and see if 12V is getting to it when a helper activates the front washer, and if so, and pump doesn't spin, pump is bad. At the same time if you hear it and fluid is going somewhere and leaking...

One windshield washer pump?
Hi, I am having an issue with the windshield washers front and rear, on my, new to me, 2016 Explorer. I could be wrong, but I understand from reading, here and elsewhere, that there is just one pump which serves both front and rear washer nozzles. I am finding this functionality rather hard...
