Or everyone meet at the Turdle Ranch, or everyone meet at someplace close to KS Rocks that serves breakfast (Turdle Ranch?)

There is always Bonnies Cafe on the way to KSRocks:cool:

If I can convince my lady to go, then I'll be down for it. I noticed there are stock rated trails for me and it's also very close to my parents house too. How I never knew about these trails when I lived at home drives me crazy, my Ranger would have had a great time out there.

Speaking of my old Ranger, has anyone heard from Steve(88comingup)? Or seen what changes he's done? I'd like to see it in action.

He had it out at the summer SMORR run if its the truck I'm thinkning of (the black one right).

Sounds like I'll end up being the slacker then, since were probably going to stop at the cider mill on the way down to pick up some yummy cider donuts.

Levi- Yup, it's the black one;) I PM'd him to see if he'll be there because I have a tire to give him that he forgot to grab.

Where is that? I have no idea where anything is out that way. Last time I went to KS Rocks I didn't even have an address, I just put the coordinates in and hoped I'd get there, lol.

Bonnies cafe in Gas sounds great! I think they serve quail eggs!

For anyone that passes through Mound City on 7 hwy, the Jayhawk-Inn is a good place to eat. It's located right on 7hwy and 52hwy W. They don't serve breakfast though:(

OK, Bonnie's it is. So what time are we meeting up there that morning?

I'm planning on going up Friday - but I visit some friends in Missouri-- then spend the night at Ft. Scott. FYI I will probably bring a small BBQ grill for some Heat/lunch. (I've gone with guys that didn't like the chow.)

We always meet up for Mexican in Fort Scott after the run.

Lets try and get a picture with us all lined up like we did last year!!

Steves truck may have tranny problems but I don't know that forsure?? he was asking about my ZF5spd but never heard back, if i have something together by then I might see if I can come out.

See if you can drag Greg along with you. :D

An old friend of mine may ride in our truck, and hang out at the house a while. We can make it a get together--no real plans other than getting cold and dirty, come home and drink a little.

Gregg will come. He say now he isn't but I bet we can pressure him into it.

:p::D

I heard back from him and he's not going to make it out. I'm bringing a tire to give to Jon for Steve. I need to register and get my act together:D I think I'll be the only stock Explorer on street tires, doesn't sound like a good combo....

Speaking of which, Jon, do you mind grabbing ahold of that tire when I show up? :D If you don't have room, I can follow you out to your place and drop it off.

Just curious, if you are a passenger, do you still have to pay $30?

Pretty sure its $30 per rig/driver, and that covers wheeling, a shirt, and lunch. Additional lunch tickets are like $10? per.

Check the website to be sure, I put it in the first post in this thread.

I just emailed them and asked. I didn't see the cost of passengers on the webpage and if I missed it, then I need glasses.

Anyone know what to expect of the stock trails? Think I can tackle them?

Also, passed Yellowford this morning taking my GF to work. His rig looked good;)

I think I'm out!!

Issues with our truck going to keep us at home. The weather is going to most likely keep me from getting our rig fixed in time. We would sure like to ride along with someone if we could. Sounds like we could get picked up at bonnies sence it's just down the street from our house.

I think I'll register anyway joshua could use a new shirt!:p:
Hope for some warm weather maybe we can get ours going before the 19th!!

OH camaros don't do good in snow with slicks!!:p:

I wouldn't take your explorer on any of those trails, they are really tight and you will get lots of scratches.

I think he would be fine on the main outer road though. Unless it is real muddy.

I'm thinking it may be smarter to not ruin anything. It's my DD and if I break it, not good. Also got an email back about passengers at Frostbite, plus, he even thinks it won't be smart for me to run:(

Joel,

If you bring your vehicle to the event it will cost $30 to get in pre-registered. That gets you all the extras with that registration. If you come as a passenger, then you will be covered with that vehicles registration to say limited to whatever that registration provides for, i.e., one meal, one shirt & one raffle ticket. If you ride as a passenger and want to eat, you will need to add that to the registration. With a completely stock vehicle with no lift and street tires, and with the snow we are getting this week, (if it all doesn’t melt off and dry up) it will be near impossible for you to even get around the main loop trail. Hope that answers your questions. Thanks.
