Return From Azusa Canyon 11-11-07

I'll be back later to show my son this thread, so if there are any suggestions, please toss them out for us... I got about 3 teens that would dig this! Thank you all!

i didn't know there was so much intrest in azusa, if i would have known, i would have made an actual thread about it so more people could have been there. azusa is usually a place me and justin go if we want to offroad for just a day and bring our lady friends (it was supposed to be justin and his girlfriend and me and another girl, but my girl couldn't go so it was him, his g/f and his sister)

it was great day run! alot of fun and the weather was cool. met up with cyber easily and hit the mudd holes. i had to get pulled out once, and justin had to get YANKED out once and cyber's spring came out. but had alot of fun. drove fast, did some jumps, went slow, did some crawling, and some mud bogging. and didn't break anything!

i don't have anything on my computer to resize any pics, so ill just post a link to them on photobucket

before we got dirty, justin's bronco in the left, me in center, cybergasim on right

next time we're going, ill post a thread for everyone else to go, so we can watch all the monster jeeps/blazers with big blocks plow through four feet of mud

oh, and see all the stock range rovers and exterra's romp around. ass well as some crazy wwII loking mercedes bens. and justins favorite, alot of straight axle toyotas

Hrm.. I seem to remember seein Cybers truck looking like that before (with a spring out).. :)

I'm assuming it didn't rip the brake line again.

I had a problem with a spring popping out often and in my case the RA bushings were worn enough to get extra droop out of the front, enough that the spring would pull out (I don't have a j-hook on the top of the spring like Cyber has). When I replaced my RA bushings my spring stopped popping out.

Eventually I will modify the spring mount so I don't pop the spring when the RA bushing is worn (I like it worn, it flexes more).

i only go to Azusa to watch people do stupid things. I'm not so hot on the mud thing:rolleyes: It just takes to long to clean off, and it never all comes off. Rincon shortcut is a cool little trail though:thumbsup: You could do it all in 2wd but kinda fun, it would be awsome in the snow though:cool:

well, since you insist, now you have to setup a rincon trip :D

...where are the pics of the sister????

hey don't start sounding creepy ted

...sorry, you didn't say you were taking minors...

I'd love to go too, but ill have to ride along with someone as i'm only 2wd.

haha its cool ted. im 18. all my friends are first year college or last year high school. and my bike riding friends range up to 25 though.

...btw, when are you going to paint them fenders to match??? :p:

ha ha :D if ya take a gander at the second video RJ posted you see the exact spot where i popped the coil spring again trying to do the same thing as RJ

and of course the brake line did'nt rip since i STILL have not fixed it since truckhaven
got a little side tracked by my electrical dilemma.

And the young ladies in attendence were young enough i could have been there father and Tbars could have been there grandfather :p:

...oh no you didn't, lol...:p:

i tried to paint the whole car mud color :D

hmmm, the fenders are white, the truck is white, it matches

don't want to paint. im just gonna weck up the rest of the car so i don't want to spend money/time on paint. someday we'll wreck the back quarter panels enough and get some flares, and then we'll paint
