Well the day started out good-- Then I shelled out a locker and a winch-- not 100 ft from the dreaded stream (which I made it up BTW) . I had 4x4 in reverse only - not forward (?) but made it out in 2x4 --- barely. Then I rode in a jeep part of the day :-( I didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked with everyone-- spent allot of time Muddy UNDER my rig hoping it was a u joint or something simple. It wasn't. I also have to replace a inner door panel!-- allot to get fixed before I go to disney! (in a few weeks)

Elasar65 hope your xfer case problem gets resolved soon. If you need help let me know. I have a welder, torch, tools and garage in newton when you move down you are welcome to come up when needed :-)

Clint won several 100 dollars worth of stuff again- I didn't win squat. :-(

What a mess, the place was a soupy nightmare!!! We all were having trouble just tring to drive in a stright line:rolleyes:!!! Joshua said it sounded like we were driving over bubble wrap:thumbdwn:

And I say never take my Ideas again, cause if we were to have waited a few mintues more. We wouldn't have gotten into such a bad start. So I'll keep my mouth shut from now one. It was only fitting that I was the frist one to get stuck there. But I wasn't pulled out by anyone!!!! Thanks to Brad bronco2guy
I had the ability to winch myself out of the jam. Thanks brad!! And Colin froader for letting the winch go with the truck when I bought it. I've had to use it to many times but glad I have it.

It sucked having pulled us out of the mess we were in,to turn around and drive right back threw it to go back to lunch.
And watching John & Joel almost go over side ways:roll: scared the crap out of me. And I'm man enough to say it!!

For me Frostbite marked a year for Joshua & I to own this truck and wheel it. And it was nothing like last yr at all. Just a mess very disappointing in away as we didn't get to wheel much.

Was good to see everyone again and meet joel I new he'd be hooked on wheel'n again.Riding along is better then sitting at home wishing!!!!:p:

I'm already looking forward to next year as long as it dosen't snow and rain for two weeks before it time!!!!

Congrats to all the winners!!! The prizes were outstanding again this year!!!

Til we meet again Be Safe!!!:salute:

Jason and I had a good time even if it wasn't his day for wheelin'. He spent more time under the truck in the mud than driving. It was a nasty, muddy mess... I'm talking about both his clothes and the park!

Greg... how right you were with the "jinx". It's what he gets for not having the Ranger ready. I'm going to make sure that it's ready for SMORR.

Levi, Mark, and Josh were the only ones that I had met before so I had a great time talking with everyone. Thank you again for making me feel welcome!

A big THANK YOU to Jon and Sheri for their hospitality last night! I enjoyed the great conversation and playing with the grandkids.

These pictures and videos were taken from my phone so they are not high quality. I'm going to get better at this.... I promise.

Yes, It was good sitting around the table eating junk food, and enjoying some fine spirits. Still haven't had my third taste of the spiced rum though. Man I am such a lightweight lately.
It was real good to see all the guys again.

Jason has a real cool Girlfriend-I must say. Over a few small glasses we were discussing some axles which were nearby. Without missing a beat she asked Jason if he needed the ATM card to get them-

On a side note I did have some carnage happen. While backing to reposition myself to prepare to almost flop, I backed into a tree. This rearranged the ammo box, bent the frame it sits on and dented the rear tailgate a bit.

Jon- This is what I was talking about. You could install this at some point if seeing behind you is always a problem. Priced around $80, so it's not too bad.

Well, I had a good time, even if I spent most of the day laying in the mud with a wrench cursing at the truck, transfer case, mud, weather, and everyone with a working rig. Lol Anyways, haven't figured out what the problem with the transfer case is, but its in 2Hi, and thats good enough for me for now.

We went to go out for a run, and I couldn't get the case to shift into 4low, finally got frustrated and took the motor off and shifted it by hand. As far as I know it should have gotten me 4low, what I ended up with was 2low.

Later on, as you can see from the vid, it popped into neutral, and I had to crawl under it again and fix it.

The lights on the dash would say 4 high and Low, and I could hear the solenoid in the dash clicking, but no joy at the case.

Later, while under the truck in the mud again, I was looking at the motor while it was pulled off, and someone was in the truck switching the switch, and it wasn't moving at all. So the motor is shot. No big deal, but it should still engage the front wheels in "auto" right? I got nothing, so what does that mean?

Saw Salsa3651 and Elessar65, in Eureka!, on the way home--- Did you see the train crossing at the stoplight? ha ha.

What a foggy drive-- then I got 10 miles from home unloaded the rig and hit hail and wind and driving rain-- washed the truck a little though :-)

Yeah, we followed you for a couple miles before going around in town. It was too foggy to try and pass on the highway. We made it home ok, the truck seems fine. Although I haven't dared to play with the 4wd switch at all yet.

Rumor has it the park was hit by a tornado last night. I'm looking for details but as of yet nothing.
Holy Cow! Might have to have another cleanup day? Hope it didn't hit the buildings or OMG the Potty!
