Help! I want to lift my truck!

Yeah I would keep them on since they basically leveled you out. AAL isn't hard just takes little time and patience. Just undo the center ubolts then the front spring bolt then the back. Cut off the center bolt with an angle grinder and put the new leaf in and get a new bolt to put in the center. Then just bolt everything back up.

The F150 leafs won't do that on the ST's, ST springs already have more arch and a higher spring rate than the regular Ex springs do. The eyelet holes in the bushings are also different sizes.

is this a good video to go by? I'm gonna use the aal that are ford ST

Is this a good idea rebel?

That pretty much explains how to do a add a leaf. If you're working on the ground.

Remove the lower shock bolt.

Jack the truck up in the air, support the truck by the frame with jack stands.

Remove tires for easier access, use c clamps on the leafsprings to compress them together.

Remove the u bolt nuts

Slowly jack up the rear axle, place jack stands under axle tubes, just far enough to access the center pin/bolt remove the pin/bolt.

Place add a leaf spring in place, bolt in center pin lower rear axle onto spring pack.

Bolt on u bolts, bolt wheels and tires on.

Lower truck back onto the ground, bolt the shocks back on, remove the c clamps. Might've left out something but that's pretty much the process. Make sure you buy the longer add a leafs, not the short ones.

I think I can try and figure it out haha thank you for the help. I'll take a picture of my truck today to show how the shackles turned out. But I found some leaf springs off eBay from offroadjeff I don't know if they are long or short

Looks like it's leveled out now and you have more then enough clearance for 32-33's. The tires will make it stand that much taller.

i wouldn't also I made my shackles and I thought that just because the leafs have more arch doesn't mean its going to be higher as the f150 has higher spring rates

measure the tire from ground to tire then figure a 33 is so and so bigger so measure on each side heres an example. I have 31 inch tires and im putting 33 inch tires on it is going to be 1 inch on each side so 1 inch lift and then 1 more inch in fenderwell

I measures the two rears and it's 36.5 or 37.5

I also just drove it for the first time and everyone in there said we were leaning forward

Just measured rear and front on both sides. Rear measures 37.5 front measures 35.5

I had a lift on it before doing the shackles

A set of Monroe 58617 will bring the arch back into your leaf springs, and I bet once they are installed the rear will be 1.5"-2" higher than it is now with the shackles alone.
