Fantasizing about revenge is fun, but DON'T DO IT. Let the cops and insurance handle it. Justice should be served, if possible, but revenge (aside from being un-Christian and un-civil) will only escalate the situation. If the guy is that much of a low life to begin with, he will try something even nastier to get back at you after you get back at him. There are nuts out there who will do incredibly violent things. Look at that guy who shot 5 hunters over some real or imagined threat or insult. Stay away from that dude, he's nuts!

From what I have read, they came out, saw him in the stand, and fired a shot, whether warning or not, if I was in a tree and someone shot at me, I would shoot back also. He shot them in the back AFTER they shot at him.

6 dead, one gun, other than the wacko, on private property, the property owner is dead. Self defense BS that would be one shot kill them someone else pics up the gun, kill them... Self defense is not shooting someone in the back.

Keying is lame... killing however is not

I got keyed this summer by some 50yr old guy who thought I littered on his lawn in my gf's neighborhood. Of course I couldn't prove anything either - except for the fact he admitted to piling all the trash on 'some f*&king white explorer' before he knew it was mine. Sad part is, he has probably $200,000 in cars in his driveway and lives in a million dollar house - you think he would be above keying.

I havent contacted my insurance yet. I have geico and unfortunately my deductable is a grand. I have access to a paint booth so i'm thinking about doing the work myself for half the price of the deductable. I think its time to think of a new paint scheme.
