I'll start here. I replaced the fuel pump today, 7/3/19.

Now and then my truck would not start for no apparent reason. I would start it and it would die only to not start again. Sometimes in gear sometimes not. It acted like it was flooded then would sound like no gas at all. I'd check all the usual suspects: shut off, fuses, tap the tank all the simple and easy things. After a couple of times, when it happened I would just wait 30 minutes and it would start.

I have read a lot about this problem but no fixes and no one replaced the fuel pump. Without fooling with all the wiring, relays, etc., I thought I would just start at the fuel pump but not sure what to expect.

Any thing I should be ready for?
Is there another problem?

Sincerely,
The Delaware Valley Daredevil
