Jakee's 4.0 SOHC Build up discussion and motivation thread

Got my money back!!!!!!!

I'll tell you, it was a fight.

The conclusion is; epassporte.com is NOT a business. THEY ARE A SCAM ORGANIZATION. There located in Curaco and there phone number is unpublished, possible a cell phone. They answer the phone just like a business but are a bunch of liars. I caught them in MANY lies. They just back peddle and change the subject. I would love to be in the same room with these guys. I would go primitive and bust some noses.

Be warned, change you're password often. Don't do business with ANYONE that doesn't have PayPal. Check the company out CAREFULLY before you give them your card number.

I forgot to mention. I DID NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EPASSPORTE.COM. THEY SOMEHOW GOT MY INFORMATION ONLINE. I'm thinking it was from of the smaller companys I order parts from like EIPTuning.com If the company you're dealing with doesn't have a secure connection, you could be giving you're information out to everyone.

Awesome, now get working on that truck!

Will do. I'm a little scared to order parts until I get everything changed. I'll be finishing the front part of the exhaust this weekend.

Got more parts yesterday from a local exhaust shop. (Pipe and bung)

On the epassporte thing....

The real office is located in Canada.

Alright, this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna create a page for my truck somewhere. I'll have some one post the address in here when I'm done. IF you want to see the progress and the end results, you'll see them at that page.

This forum is great but It's turned into a nightmare for me. Debate this, debate that, doesn't matter about facts just matters what the majority thinks. Prove this, prove that, I don't trust you is all I'm getting. Frankly, I'm a little tired of it.

Now, I've had my account hacked and I'm still a little "freaked" about that. I don't know how the hell someone got my information but it could have been from this site. I know I've pissed some people off in here but hey, the truth is the truth. My opinion, this forum should be more about friends coming together and talking. NOT who know's more than the next. No matter what I SAY I'll be flamed so...screw it. Why try to help people out?

I saw an ad in a Mustang mag last night- it seems that supersixmotorsports now has big valve ported heads for your 4.0 along with some custom grind cams. These could be the makings of one powerful 6er.

I also saw that Explorer Express is marketing their 4.0 blower to the Mustang community.

Yeah, I've been dealing with Spr6 on this one for awhile now. I got a little ahead of myself so I'll have to finish what I've started here first. Depending on what I achieve with what I'm doing now will determine what I do next.

Justin - what I'm doing here is trying to achieve at least 210 to the rears and 14's in the 1/4 N/A. Once that goal is met, I'll be doing a turbo set=up sort like yours and James.

I've got some pics of the exhaust that I've FINALLY finished. I'll post them tonight. Damn near took of my pinky finger trying to get the darn thing in there!! Anyways, it's done....NEXT!

PS - My O2 sensors are working just fine and no CELL? No low end torque loss either? Good improvement over 60 MPH...

FYI: there is a V6 power section in the December edition of MM&FF

BTW, another plalce is coming out with a 4.5 stroker for the 4.0 V6's as well. Meant for the 05+ V6 Mustang crowd but should benefit those of yout 6'ers who want some more power too.

Wow!? Maybe us V6'r could someday hang with the big dogs?

With a well thought out and executed plan, you can run with the 2 valve OEM V8 crowd, matter of fact you can spank them.
You can also run with the V6 stangs:salute:

Rocket - I'm gonna be spanking you and Troll!! hehehehe

kidding. I have heard a lot about the SOHC stroked, in fact there's someone in here that's been planning this for awhile now. Although, I can't say who it is cuss it's a surprise. (No, it's not me)

Just a note for all you guys out there that are annoyed with a load exhaust inside the truck; this might be worth looking into?

I wrapped the entire exhaust all the way back to where the STS will be. I had no Idea this would make the truck quieter inside? Pleasant surprise cuss I was expecting it to be insanely loud without any cats ALTHOUGH I don't recommend running without cats cuss it's just not right. Anyhow, I can say that with running NO cats, and with a wrapped exhaust, it's not too loud. I didn't lose ANY low end torque like some suggested. I was expecting to loose some low end but I sort of wanted that CUSS if you can't hook up then what's the point? Move it to where it can be used. However, again, I didn't lose anything.

Wrapping exhaust is not usually recommended for street vehicles because it can trap moisture in against the pipes when they cool down, accelerating the corrosion/rust process. Most header manufacturers void their warranties for that reason if you wrap their products.
