The runs in John's name at Marble Falls and SMORR got a nice plug on the podcast again, yes gas is high and a short distance in Texas is less than a couple hundred miles, but c'mon out folks, let's meet and tell stories of John, this is for him. (If you never got to meet him you can listen to some of the crazy sh#t he did) He would of done it for one of us.
Reminder, this is a convoy, not off roading, 2wd's, any make, it don't matter, we just want you to be there!!!!!

I spoke with Julia today, so the game plan is for her to lead the pack in John's Trac so that'll be cool! If I'm not home, Kris will be in charge of getting John's Trac for Julia and bring it back home, and if I'm home we'll meet like planned at my house and then I can take my Trac as well for the run which will be cool as well!! Paperwork should be here next week to get it retitled and insured, and hopefully all the parts I need will arrive next week and we'll be all good to go.

OK well today the Trac went for it's first trip up to the Ford dealer, was valued at $300.00 with all it's missing pieces (good for me!) and they signed off on the evaluation paperwork for a lovely $100 fee saying it was worth that versus what the state of Texas said it was worth. Drove to the DMV got her retitled and, now she's added on to my insurance.

Did smell the parking break burning up the rear when I took it for a spin, so I need to figure that out. She still needs her alignment, and the headlamps and turn signals will arrive tomorrow.

All is looking good.
