Only a couple specific incidents come to memory. Both times the X was completely stock.

Tied a '98 S-10 from 0 up to 75, then we both backed down to legal speeds (65). The S-10 had a 4.3 with intake, headers, exhaust, chipped and possibly other stuff.

Beat a 5-speed V8 Dakota with unknown mods other than exhaust, mainly because our cars both hit a patch of ice while tied on a corner. Other driver (female) lost the back end, overcorrected and crashed sideways into a snow pile. The X got a little squirrely with 2 extra passengers and a load of tools but straightened out just fine.

Countless cars on the highway systems, it just likes to go fast...

beat 99+ dakota V6 I think, we were driving at 120km/h on the highway, then we pinned it, he fell behind at 140km/h and then I continued and to my surprise, the exploder kept going untill 200km/h and then I hd to stop because a corner was coming up.........I thougt that at 160 or even 180 the limiter would kick in like all my other mustangs when they were stock... I was impressed with how well it handled at 120mph!! now with my exhaust I want t see if it carries on past 120mph easier.

Took down a Mercury Cougar (V6) tonight on a 0-50mph run from a light. We were evenly matched, except with the new trans vac modulator I installed earlier today I got into second gear quicker so I was leading by a carlength the whole way

in my stock '93 (4.0, auto, 3.73's), i raced my friends stock 4runner (5 speed, 22r, 4.56's). he did a clutch drop and got me off the line but i ran him down right away and won.

Add a new edge V6 auto to my list as of last night. And it was a come from behind win as he (Co-worker) did the ricer flyby after merging onto a lane of hwy. Pulled on me by a car length at first simply because he accelerated first. He waved going by but then I pulled HARD on him after a car length and waved at him . He never caught back up after that. It was all in good fun tho.

Then he said he wasnt on it all the way, only revvin to like 3k... Correct me if im wrong, but as far as im aware diesels dont rev much higher than that, at least not the ones im aware of lol

no but really, the last one is truly one I "raced" (v6 mustang automatic). No one really revs at a Ford Explorer lol

Beat some kid in his rsx the other day with his girl in the car and my truck packed. Didnt know he was tryin to race til i heard his stupid vtec crap kick in when he was tryin to get ahead of me from the light on an otherwise empty highway, then i floored it and embarassed him... Tool.

Chevy truck single cab 5.3 tuned beat him till 50 then he flew by 98 f150 honda accord lx reving at me like a jackass so had to take him out 08 gmc sierra 4 door altima 3.5 played a camaro ss 2009 or ten it beat but not that bad dat race made me realize how bad my brakes suck impala ss h1 blazer lincoln mark sumthing it got me like at 90 03 mustang gt stupid minivan and many more on my 5.0 xlt i wrk almost every day i go tru like 15 stop lights

Tavo123 what do you have done to your truck? 03 GT? how do you beat that yet a 5.3L chevy flies by you at 50? and then not get beaten that bad by a new SS camaro? and then a lincoln mark 8 (probably) gets you at 90?

I'm calling bs or something lol

Also you do this on your way to work through the city? sounds like there are alot of people around at the time...
