Screw it, I'm in! :bounce: I still have to work out the logistics, but I'll be there!

..Cool and Happy Birthday..:biggthump

I really want to go, but there is no way I can go during the week:(

..For those who stumble upon this thread and wonder what "King of the Hammers" (KOH) is, this should help..

Slight name change.
It is officially the 2013 Griffin King of the Hammers presented by Nitto Tire

..Go full screen and turn it up loud...:biggthump

..I stumbled upon this list of the "other things" going on at "Hammertown" along with the map..
http://ultra4racing.com/featured/2013-hammertown-map/

..Dyno pulls for $50, kids play zone, arts and crafts for kids and adults..:bounce:

..The main race is..

KOH is 185 miles. Use Pit 1 once. Pit 2/2A four times. Main Pit twice.

More live coverage..

· Our Live show will make further advancements next year including Live Footage from the Heli and mobile remote cameras (UTV based) so we can get the live story from out in the field.

..And I couldn't find much info other than USAC will be there..

Don't forget about KOT...King of the Trimmers race:p::

Also, you will be able to tune in on the radio and TV (on the lakebed) with KOH FM and KOH TV.

..One of them trimmers had only limited slip..:p:

..I read the $20 donation wrist band will be the key to get into Hammertown and the pits as they are completely fencing off Hammertown this year and IIRC, it will close at 6 pm for non participants..

..But they will now have a food concession open 24hrs..:biggthump

..The weather in Landers this weekend is 43/22 and next Sundays weather is predicting 61/43..

..Will it rain, snow, heat up?

..Who cares?..:shifty_ey ...Bring it on..:bounce:

..And don't forget your order list for our Forum Vendor Rourke..:biggthump

..And if any members have a favorite team they want coverage of, let us know here and we will see if we can make that happen..;)

KOH would be awesome if they got THIS :D

I mentioned that in a thread a couple years ago and a wheeler who works (or worked) at In-n-out said that cookout trailer is paid to come out to events:rolleyes:
I don't know how much it would take to get it on the lakebed but even if they weren't paid to come out, they would make so much stinkin' money it wouldn't be funny.

Brian..Which team and what number?

I dont know how that truck works either but I agree they would pull in some serious cash. I used their calculator and for 10k people and 24hrs it was around 75k. I hope the double doubles would be included for that price.

Ted, #36

..I like watchin' videos while we wait..

..Robbie Gordon in the trailer after his first attempt at KOH and his DNF..

..And last years "Everyman Challenge"..

Brian, how will you be getting arround this year? I'm tagging along with Clint and Jason again, but they are only bringing Jason's buggy. I'm trying to borrow a 4wheeler, but I need to find someone else that's heading through Junction and has room to haul it or I'm stuck on foot.

..Hopefully Brian got your message..

..Are there any Fords or TTB's to be watching this year?

Robby Gordon will be back with the TTB buggy. I'm not sure if there are any in the stock or mod class, but Clint from Battlement Fab has been working with a guy on his Early Bronco build for the stock class.
