Yes, I went to my tire guy and 32's can only be fit on 15 inch rims. you can't just knock off the last number and replace it with what ever rim size you have. If you don't know then why assume and make an "ass" out of "u" and "me". Thanks anyway!!!

Ok asshat, let's try this again...

First off that link I gave you would answer your question but since you don't seem to understand

What I said was, the size of your wheels doesn't change the size of tire that will fit on your truck. a 265/75/16 is the same as a 32" tire and therefore will fit the same. If you

assume

that I don't know, then you're the fuktard, noob. If your tire guy doesn't know that, or didn't tell you that, then he's a fuktard too. Let me know if you have any other questions...

Oh yeah, and welcome to the site...

LOL !!! FROADER is right sebas54 -- the wheel diamater doesnt influence how large of a tire you can fit under your vehicle because the wheel diameter is independant of the tire diameter. 255/70/16 and 255/70/15 are the same tire diameters- just different wheel diameters.

Wow. Isn't that special.

You may or may not be a complete idiot offline, but coming to ANY message board with 3 posts and immediately picking fights with people who are both trying to help you AND better informed (if not outright smarter) than you is not generally a very bright thing to do even when you are in the right... which you are not.

Better luck with your second week on the Explorer Forums :o:thumbsup:

I am sorry if I hurt your feelings but I thought that you stated the size 32x10.5x15 would fit on 16 inch rims ; making the size 32x10.5x16. I guess I misunderstood. When I told that to my tire guy he was full jokes which made me pretty made. Truthfully it was a misunderstanding and I am sorry. I realy do appreciate all the help. I think that this site is awesome and very helpful. By the way I ended up ordering pirelli scorpions 275/70/16 any oppinons. Thanks again and sorry!!! ;)

The wheels don't make a differance of what size tire will fit on your truck.

A 255/70/16 is a 30.1x10" tire on a 16" wheel.
The other is exactly what is says, 32x11.5" on a 15" wheel.
Just curious where you got that I said a 32x10.5x15 tire would fit on a 16" rim?

My feelings don't get hurt. I just don't appreciate being called an ass by some tool I'm trying to help (which I did in both of my posts), unless of course it's IZwack...

Yeah, when you get married to some one like Froader, its hard not to hurt each other's feelings once in a while - I guess thats how marriage is though :D Plus with Froader in CA, and me in MD, its a loooong distance relationship so its hard on both of us. So my sincere appologies sebas54 for Froader blowing up on you like that.

Thanks, no hard feelings.
I wanted to get an add a leaf for my explorer sport but can't find any. I don't think that they make them for the sport models because it's a mono leaf spring. Will I not be able to raise the back up? I just did the tt and warrior shackles and the back is sitting about an inch or two lower then the front. I know that i could lower the front to compensate for the back but I don't want that. I am only looking to spend $100-$175 more. Thanks in advance for any suggestion/advice.

clearance question

i just bought a 4 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift for my 01 exp sport.
i was just wondering if i could fit 35x12.5x15s alright.

Would 285/75R16 be roughly the same as 33x12.50x15? I have looked at tire calculators but can't seem to find the way to get a 33 to give me a measurement to find if the two are the same. I am trying to get as close to 33 as possible without rubbing. I have a 3" body lift and 2" TT and Shackles w/AAL.
Thanks guys.

What would the section height and width of a 33 be, that is what I was trying to find out. I got what you posted above. Thanks.

-Rich

Wow...

Uhhh, whatever the tire says on it.

The section height is sidewall which on a 15" wheel will be 9". The width will probably be 12.5" or 10.5 depending on what size you want to buy.

WOW....why does everyone have to be so condescending? I wouldn't have asked and wasted my time typing if I knew.

Which is why I typed out the answer. ;)

Ok, I'm kinda new here, but I know how to use the search function. I have never lifted a vehicle and am running into a lot of problems when I try to buy rims or tires local. Today discount tire gave me some crap about not putting on 15x8 rims and only putting on tires with a "p" rating? I understand I might need 16x8 rims because of the bigger rotors on the 01 sports. Anyways, I just want to find out what I can fit so I can buy them online and put them on myself. Sorry for venting. I just don't understand why the won't just give me what I ask for.
