M90 setup complete 4.0 ohv

Guys,
My 2000 Ex is done. Really done.
Long story short, lent it to the outlaws since they were in need and an accident later and running it after blowing the head gasket its officially toast. Literally. Don't ask questions. I'm still more than a bit irritated.

Heads..99.9% they are cracked up. Garbage.
Headers Look in great shape. For sale
ARP head studs. Salvageable. For sale
422 cam and push rods. Oil looks fine, so I'm going to say they are fine and in good shape to sell.


SC setup ($1500.00) includes:
M90, upper M90 mount, ported lower intake, accufab, injectors, etc.
Everything required to get up and running. Misc stuff also if it was sold as a working kit including throttle cable and any misc. bits to make the install easier.
The M90 was polished and looked amazing. Now, it doesn't look so good. I'm not sure how easily it would polish up again. Rotors were coated to help with iat's.

I have an sct device with the tune in it, but it would have to go with the ecu, otherwise it would be un-marry the sct device and tuning would be done from scratch. $200.00

Remember, the lower mount came from rpcaster and is top notch. New, the mount its self was $500.00.

Return the vehicles PCM back to stock with that SCT device or the device will be useless. Right now it is married to the vehicle with the tune in it.
If you don't unmarry it, you would have to send it back to SCT to get it unlocked. $150.00 to unlock it was the last price I heard.
I believe it goes by VIN, not strategy.

Thanks for the condolences guys. It was a strong, reasonably fresh motor. Enough whining, I won't be lending them a pencil. If I do, Tim will have every right to 'help' a transmission slip and fall on me. lol.

Hmm would the set up work with a 91-94? I'm not %100 sure on electronics.

It would work just fine, except tuning would be different.

If obd1 you ""could"" get away with stock injectors and MAF at low boost but wont be getting the full potential outa it..

For obd1 your need a SCT or believe bama makes it now,elemantor chip that the older fox bodies use.then a dyno tune or someone with alot of knowledge could write you a tune for the different injectors and MAF..i would highly recommend a dyno tune to get full power outa it..

I will add this is very cheap for what he is selling,i wouldn't even think about selling my stuff for this price.GREAT DEAL and sad to see it go,hopefully goes to a fellow member. .

one other thing that us canucks might be interested in, this truck also has a cluster from the 01-03, and 01--05 explorer sport, and sport trac, meaning it is a white face cluster

Here's blower assembly and injectors with lower intake. Notice accufab throttle body and screamin demon coil pack. Also, intake tube shown. The lower intake is ported. Now, its also shaved for better alignment with the shaved heads that are no longer any good.

Vroomzoomboom was asking about the maf also. He said"Is the maf part of this also?", and I said yes. He says I'm going way too cheap for all this. Its true, its pennies on the dollar. So, anyway, as a package, the maf can go also. Keep in mind, this is in US dollars.

I'm trying to remember, but I think I took .02 off the heads. At any rate, if using the lower, this will need to be considered.
