Also I would love to start getting a list of trails people will be going on so I can decide where im going.....ive only been down there once and that was in 2001 and I did a few trails but the only one I really remember I think is hells revenge and id definitely like to do that again.

That is true Randall, but hard to swallow the added gas when my tow rig gets 9mpgs with the trailer on fairly flat ground. I dont even want to think about how low it could go in CO

An idea,I'm in Minnesota, you got to drive right by me to get there. I have a cummins dually but no trailer, will yours fit 2 ex's? I'll tow from MN and back if it will.

Not sure where to stay in Moab, only been there once. We are easy to please, motel or whatever. Any suggestions?

All i have right now is a single place car trailer. Thanks for the idea though. I wonder if any place rents trailers that big.

It would be a gooseneck I would think,it is about 1175 miles one way so I figure a cool $1000 in fuel down and back at 9 mpg. I will look around here, need to ask my boss that question.

its definatly worth looking into, would cut both of our bills by nearly half

edit: a quick search on google revealed the Grand Rental Station in cloquet rents a 22' gooseneck for $97 a day or $291 a week. Not sure where that is in proximity to you though

I'll try to update this with where people are staying when they chime in;

Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

offroadkc - Explorer - ?

Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

I think I got everyone/everything?

I'll have my Blazer, no more Explorer.
Make me a maybe, I'm starting a new job next week so.... But it looks good that I can make it still. If I do I'll most likely be staying at Canyonlands.

I'll be bringing an explorer, most likely my 97 limited. And I'll be staying at koa

You're going to need a much bigger trailer than that, try a 35'.

The 4dr X wheel base is almost 10' add front and rear body/bumper overhang and maybe a winch and you'r close to 16' each.

Open question to the group...

Shall I reserve a spot for us for a Saturday night dinner at 7pm? Or do you want to try something else this year??

With as many people showing up as we have listed, there will probably be at least 2 groups every day so we need some type of gathering to get us all together in the same place at the same time

Ok sounds good. I'll make reservations with the Branding Iron. They've always treated us well.

Agreed. What about doing something right away as soon as most of us arrive, and maybe again at the end of it all. ??

That would be good.....I plan to arrive on wednesday and leave monday

Normally we do Saturday night at the Branding Iron, 7pm for the 'big' get together. On the rest of the nights we all migrate over to the Moab Brewery.
