Good stuff mate!!

Can't wait to see it!

nice x u got there nate keep up good work

Some news here;
I am currently making a decision of whether to keep the 05 or go for a 2nd gen. I know you all have heard I'm going to sell this truck before, but I think by the end of summer I will have the money saved up for a V8 Second Gen and I will make my choice by then.

Let me know if you want to sell that body lift mate! At least you'll have that V8 you've been chasing!

I'm willing to sell the body lift. I can always head back down to the shop and order some more BL blocks. And yes true on that! :D I just have to be a picky buyer. My 2nd gen (if I get another one) will have to have a 5.0L V8, 3.73 gearing, and if possible leather seats.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do Nate! :thumbsup:

X2 mate. Play it by ear, summer can alway's throw a different perspective on thing's!!!

I found an off road jack in my father's shed...hmm...time to see if he will give that to me. ;) I just need to get the bull bar mount for it.

Very handy piece of kit to have when you're stuck by yourself.

Funny that I've been mentioning an off road jack to my dad and he said nothing about having one, then all of a sudden I look in his shed and there is an off road jack with all the accessories. :cool:

I'm not sure about a mount; whether I should go with a bull bar mount or a roof rack mount. Decisions.... :p:

Depending on whether it's 48" or 60" long, you could wrap it in a blanket and stow it behind the back seat? A rated 12" length of chain and d shackles or a purpose made extension bar can help with lifting a 3rd gen (just be careful of body damage!)

Good idea greg. Or maybe it would fit under the back seat. I'll have to see if its a 48" or 60" model.

Well for those interested I have a new thing I will be doing. A Spare Tire holder that connects into the factory hitch. I'm going to be custom building this for the purpose of when I off-road and get my 265/75's my spare tire isnt taking a brutal beating on the departure.
I am considering making a few extras with this for an off road jack, gas containers, etc. Once my pay check rolls in I will get started in the design stage of this project.

lookin good nate keep up good work

Well time to announce this. By this fall, being august or september, this explorer wont be mine anymore. I officially will be selling it and buying another SUV. My choices are; second gen explorer, Jeep Wrangler YJ or TJ, Jeep Cherokee XJ, Nissan Pathfinder, or a Bronco. So far the V8 explorer is my choice but the cherokee is a close second. I found a 98 V8 that has really caught my eye. It needs a little cosmetic work but other than that it appears to be good. 183k on the odometer.
