Umm yeah its the front drive shaft at the transfer case end. I took it apart to fix some clicking/binding so it must go back together. I just dont know how? So help would be great.....

umm yeah its a sport 4x4. It wouldnt have come apart so easily if it couldnt go back togather. i had a clicking/binding sound coming from front left and it wasnt the front dif or front cv axles. It also wouldnt have any bolts on it if it couldnt be serviced...... The ford service manual is kinda iffy on the install procedure

That's supposed to be a non-service-able joint. I've never had one apart, so I can't tell you how it goes back together. My suggestion would be to take it to a driveline shop and have them evaluate it...

Good luck!

{tuning-in}....

the flange just slips back onto the other piece that is probably still stuck inside the transfer case. Good luck though, because the people are right about them not comming apart. I have had mine apart before and free'ed it up. It flew apart at 60 mph two days later. My suggustion is to find one in a junkyard and replace. make sure you get one for a V6 as it is slightly longer then the V8 ones.
