Found this on the net by accident... Seems kind of cool, lol! No further info on it unfortunately.... I really hope it ain't another one of them soccer-mom cruisers (cheap FWD unibody crossover crap! One Escape is enough for those grocery runs!) ;)

Sorry, but that Bronco Concept vehicle is pretty old. In fact I think Fred Flintstone took that picture.

Seriously though, if you want more info on it, google Bronco Concept or even browse a couple of threads on the first page in this forum. You should be able to find all kinds of stuff about it. You'll also find that Ford won't be building it anytime soon, no matter how much we want them to.

its on a car chassis, I hope they call it the Escape II personally... it does not get the Bronco name IMO

Agreed - the last Bronco produced was in 1996, though I'm still a fan of the '78 that I had :D

they would call that Sport Trac II

Somebody would drive it...

It's made more for this guy... but I might consider it... :o

Damn it! Another "crossunder"!

Damn it!!! I drive an Escape at work (company car) and hate that FWD piece of unibody crap. And when other coworkers call these "trucks", I can never resist straightening them out by pointing to my Explorer which is sitting in the parking lot and saying "No, that's a truck!", lol.

Ford might just as well close down it's truck division and build everything off the Focus platform - even the F-150s and F-250s (hey, why not?
As long as they put all kinds of sh*t on the outside to make it look tough). Then the only dilemma for people will be whether to buy a Kia, Hyundai or Ford "crossunder" - as they will all be the same cheap crap anyway.

R.I.P. Ford! Time to start looking elsewhere... Hopefully GM will stay in the game for a little while longer.

 :salute:
