New Cowl Hood!

Since no one makes a cowl hood for 07-10 Explorers, I decided to have one made. I just picked up a brand new steel replacement hood, and I have a local shop cutting it up to make a cowl hood out of it.

If this turns out good, I might be able to have them make more if others are interested on here. I figure we'll see how good this one turns out first.

The hood is complete! Just need some paint on it and get it mounted up, and its ready. Hope to have some finished pics in a couple weeks. It turned out way better than I even anticipated.

Okay, here it is, all finished up and painted. I can't be happier with this hood. It actually works as a heat exchanger so it's functional as well. Lots of room for a supercharger under there.

I like how it lines up with the two bars on the grill. Looks great and you need to get some more pictures!

I might take a stab at cutting my hood up if I can find another to replace it.
