no wheeling for me for a while

I just got home yesterday fro spending 5 days in the hospital. I have 4 broken ribs. so no wheeling for me for a while. It started out as a nice couple day motorcycle ride was on the last stage hwy 134 about 2 miles down from Gore pass I took a turn to wide and put the bike in the soft shoulder. I went side ways and my wife went over me. I rolled along the pavement on the edge of my helmet. luckily I was in leather from neck to toes. I had on a face mask, glasses, and helmet.

so I will be off the trails till this heals. It was bad enough the drive back from Denver any bouncing would not be good.

Hope you are both ok.

I don't miss my bike at all for that exact reason, things happen way too quickly and easily on bikes. Plus I got broadsided by a drunk driver once. That was reason enough for me to give up the 2 wheelers.

She is doing 1000% better then me. She has only bumps and bruises she got a clean bill of health from St.Anthonys in Denver. She has some sore muscles. She has been great through all this along with our 3 boys. they are all the best.
I think the bike has the least damage nothing that I saw( laying on my back waiting on the ambulance ) just some dirt wedged by the pegs. and clutch but I will evaluate at a later day.
