One Piece Headlights

Since I'm not really into the aftermarket one-piece halogen projector looks, and the two piece headlights don't catch my attention either. Would it be possible to maybe take both sets and make one? It would be a little difficult to find a set of the halogen projector housing just for the clear one piece cover. I'm not sure if the dimensions of the projector housing would be the same as if you put the OEM two piece together to make a single headlight.

ex.
Take this set as the main set I would put on: http://puu.sh/2bKPU
and take the one piece clear cover from this set: http://puu.sh/2bKUs
to make a one piece headlight that doesn't have the looks of the halogen projector set. Although, it looks as if the clear OEM set wouldn't match up exactly to line up to the one piece cover. Thoughts?

No, it won't match up, but more importantly, it won't seal up watertight.

Yea I was originally going to do my own retrofit, but I was overall just wondering if I would have been able to make a fabbed up one piece headlight from a clear OEM set. Thanks for the input
