They look good so far.

wrong video! LOL Still learning this new Canon digi camera, finally got it compressed and uploaded

video:

Notice the top flat halo style "bar" is a turn signal and not a parking lamp as Eagle Eye intended it to be.
I will be using two small yellow bulbs in there, currently they are clear

Looks very good, but what were you saying about fibber glassing? Should it not fit perfectly? Am I over reading something ha could be I seam to be good at the.

it now fits the stock location 100% but yes I did have to cut some of the header panel to clear the entire housing , dust covers, light sockets, wires, etc.
I like to do things RIGHT, the top two screws come off and then just pull and it comes out like the side marker would. (see pic, I left the fiberglass powder there for the picture so you could see the area I cut)

In order to aim the light it must be removed, aimed, replaced... so I took my time, re routed the wires as needed so it installs and removes smoothly each time.
The clearancing I did to the header panel does not effect the stock housings in any way, I just opened existing holes, I can put the factory lights back on anytime
The header panel is made of fiberglass on these trucks
A round and flat file made short work of those areas after marking with a sharpie.

This is turning into the write up! LOL saves work later.......
I need to do some house work today (install new toilet) then I am back on trucks this afternoon, the drivers side including new bulbs new is next.....with grill etc.
cant wait to see it at night next to the FJ!!

So if I'm understanding right, you did not have to cut anything that was painted like the grill? Just mod the header panel?

how do you get the projector to stay on when the full beam is on? cos that's gonna annoy me, the projector going out when the full beam is on.

Si

im hoping your going to do a full write up on how to install these?????

full write up is coming

Yes its like 55 here today, -10 last week and the wind was 84 mph the other day LOL
the projector was on with the full beam (hi and low) because I was holding the hi beam stalk forward (like flash to pass)

Colorado if you dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes

the only thing I cut was what is shown, I would not cut the radiator support or grill to fit lights LOL simple clearancing of the header panel

Almost time to start working on trucks, all evening and all day tomorrow = heaven

I know the projector stays on when you flash someone, but I want it to stay on for full beam too.... is there a mod that would make that happen?

Si

I am sure making the low beam stay on while the high beam is on has been discussed here a few times, that doesnt matter what lights you are running, it would be a simple jumper wire, as long as you dont fry your wiring or housing by doing so

try a search?

okay drivers and grill installed, I took lots of pictures, but I am done for the night so here are some teasers until 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
