Quick question, wheres the powerband on a stock 91 4.0

2500 -3000-ish RPMs I believe.

I'd agree.. good power is somewhere above 2000, but less thatn 2500 up to 3000.. at 3000 the power drops off...

The 4.0 makes a peak of 225 Ft/lbs at 2400 RPMs, and 160-170HP (depending on which source you believe) at 4600 RPMs. The 4.0 actually makes 200 Ft/lbs at 1000 RPMs and doesn't fall below 200 Ft/lbs till 4K.
 












along that topic would 65mph at 1750rpm be a bad thing
 






thats about where mine is @ 2k im going about 67-70 mph but hard to guage that data from a speedo with rabbit-idas.
 






I wish the 4.0 was a little more eager to rev, but it does make decent power.

Mine has 288k on it and it still has enough power to get the job done.
