Yea I see everyone using the 31 spline 8.8, then adapting lug patterns, i figured it would be easyer to just use matching patterns to start.

Im going home today and should be able to get some work done tomorrow. I have to get some box steel so I can make my new rear crossmember, and i might even get the lowers tacked on.

Got some work done today, I went to the local steel place this morning, so I picked up 3 feet of 2x4" 3/16th wall box steel. This is my new bumper/crossmember.

Looks nice, so you've still got make links for the front right?

My Lowers are made already. my upper is still on the drawing board. I need to figure out if im going to put it on the driverside or passengerside

I had read somewhere that it's best to put it on the drivers side near the pumpkin for better support, is that your plan?

You want the link to counteract the driveshaft torque. To do this the link can be run on either side but if I run it on the driverside the chassis mount has to be lower then the axle mount. if I run the link on the passenger side then the axle mount needs to be lower then the chassis mount. This makes the top link counteract the driveshaft and makes for a much more stable setup. Another thing is I dont really have room for a truss over the diff, so the passenger has two pluses as i can run a link tower instead of a truss, and it will be easyer to get better geometry.

this new crossmember is also my new "bumper", so eventually im going to add either some Dring mounts or cut up my trailer hitch i have and add it to the center of that crossmember, im also going to gusset the back side to the frame some more eventually

Subscribing. Nice Build

I went and picked up my Manual BW1354 today. but it doenst have the linkage so I have to find a manual 1354 linkage.

Nice seats! You can save a little coin if you get the lowering shackles for Chevy's from Summit, I think they were a little over 60$ last time I looked. I'd box in the backside for more strength...something I still need to do on mine:rolleyes:

The camburg shackles are already on the truck. I had to modify them though. I didnt even think about them not working with out a shackle reversal. so i moded them a little so that i can use them with my non shackle reversal setup. which in hindsight i would have been better off with just getting the chevy shackles but, meh.
