Maybe I should build a ranger just to keep in SO CAL and quit driving back and forth so much :P
You can store it in my field! :D

LOL good idea but should I vote ??? even if I dont no where any thing is lol. :D

Look at it this way... CO is one state away... AZ is one state away CA is two states away... Which one do you think you can go to? That's what we're trying to find out with this poll.

I voted for Colorado as I have never wheeled there. If it is any further I doubt I could make it. My rig is going to be finished by the pros since my back was broken in the accident. Lets see where the voting goes!

EAST COAST, i live in NY so any where close by would be good!!!

It would be nice if it were somewhere closer to the middle of the country so that at least some of us the east could have any chance of attending. From where I live, it's about a 1650 mile drive to Colorado.

Add about 450 miles to that for me.

Rick, I wasn't saying a mod tampered with the votes, I was just afraid of people voting that weren't serious about actually coming. We've got 157 votes now and if there's really that much interest this will be a very exciting run :)

This is gonna be great :bounce:

I would love to get together with the guys on this forum to celebrate! Honestly though, the selections on the poll are too far away for many of us on the East Coast. Maybe we should put together some "Regional" events. Maybe an East and West coast thing? Hell, I'd be willing to travel down to West Virgina or PA for a weekend of wheeling, but CO AZ and CA are a little too far (not to mention it's about $900 in gas alone).

I voted for Badlands even though I'd rather wheel in CO, Moab, or Phoenix. It would be a lot easier for me to drive to Indiana than any of those since I live in Missouri.

I just need to know when in far enough advance so I can ask off of work.

You're right... and even if the big run doesn't end up here we need to wheel

deffinately!!!

Can I vote for Paragon? :D

Seriously, I didn't vote because A) I'd like to see ALL of these places and B) I don't know how the hell I'd get Shelby so far out west from Maryland without major breakage (Although I have NO problem with taking Blackjack and hitching a ride in an offroader once there, done it a billion times). I think this run should be open to all, for that matter- the street trucks can hang at a mall or ride along and see what they're missing, imho.

I've always admired all of you guys and a big dream of mine has been to one day make it to one of your runs and meet y'all face to face... once you get a place and date settled, count me in! Odds are good I'll have to fly out there but it's worth it to me ;) (RENTAL EXPLORER, BUAH HA HA!!!!!!!!!)

Us in the MidAtlantic crew stick together even through the worst times and I can speak for all of us when I say we'd like to meet you guys and hit the trails. Decide on a date and place and I'll see what I can do about getting us out there, hopefully WITH our Explorers! (The closer to the East coast the better, lol)

if it isnt past indiana i can arrange to transport 6 explorers on two trailers. My uncle will tow and i will tow thte other. dont let the drive be a hinderance bbut damn AZ is so far away.

Actually Gilmer TX would be the closest trail to the center of the US :D Indiana is a little east.

I have to think this one over before I vote, but count me in. Does the Badlands have great trails befitting our 10th anniversary? I know Moab and Colorado does, but Indiana would give the east coast guys a chance of joining a major Explorer run (which I don't think has happened yet) Truckhaven could end up just being a west coast run and we do that early every year. Moab and Phoenix would be too hot in the summer. That leaves either Colorado or the Badlands, the way I see it (unless Gilmer is a possibility).

I like the idea of Gilmer, great suggestion!

Now that sounds like a helluva deal

I am both East Coast and 100% street so I am out. :(

So sorry.

It seems we have come to a impass.

I think it really comes down to, if It's in Indiana, most of west will not come. But if it's at Truckhaven, most of the East will not come.

I once agian will sugest, duel runs. I think this just makes sense and it is fair for every one. ;)

Why not have 2 events, one for East and one for West coast. I live in Ga, and due to finances this year only and east coast would be do-able for me. Take one member from each region to "sprear head/organize (w/help from others) each ride, they can both report to Rick, for advice, counseling, and trip details/summary after the ride too. Both persons will be responsible to collect any dues/donations and will be ultimatly be responsable for any actions, delimas, dramas, and general muck ups. TNKs, Joe

If there is an East coast one I will attend.
My Ex will be parked though and I will be a rider.

If there will be an east coast West coast dual ride, I am willing to volunteer to help cordinate (up to 75-80%) the east coast event only if Tellico is the destination, I know this place, and its people. Mostly the murphy side, but I do know the tellico Plains side too. I have 13 yrs experiance at Tellico. TNX, Joe
