LOL sparks you have to remember thoe, 1st time I was at this park I ran some level 4's and 5s with 31s LOL kinda hard on stuff, but I will keep others in Mind.

Wish I could figure out a way to get out there the next weekend with you guys. My new tires are on their way, and that was my biggest concern..

Bump, Everyone got there rigs ready!!! I know mine still needs alot done LOL

everythings shaping up for us to be down there this weekend. I havent posted a ton on SE but I've been active on the ranger station and look forward to having some good wheeling company ;)

I might bring some friends too, but everything is still a little iffy there. I'll try to keep up to date.

Almost ready :)
Front locker is installed, and all buttoned back up and working. This coming weekend I have some front mods to do, and then I'm ready for the pre-run. After that all I have left to do is get a new set of rear leaf springs bought and installed for the main run in May.

GmanPaint, prerun is not looking good for me, I dont have all the stuff done to my rig yet and if I keep playn with it I wont get it done. LOL, at this moment i Need to sit the pre-run out.

Not a problem. Since this was your deal in the 1st place, I will wait to hear from you when & if you can go.

Lookie what I got!!!

That's right 4 new Interco super swamper tsl/sx's to go with my spair tire.Thats never seen the road. These are for off road use onlyonly road use will be to get to the trails.

Jon also changed uper&lower ball joints along with new axle shaft u-joints!!
What a big difference that made. We had one lower joint on drives side that was broken. at one time the u-joint had failed and beat the top of the lower ball joint down to the nut. Needless to say that made things alot harder. ended up cuting it with a die grinder until it came off.

I also bought another set of street wheels, not a good pic but you can see them

Got some blig on this thing. Joshua add another sticker to the rig. it says
"GET IN SET DOWN SHUT UP AND HOLD ON"

One of these days I will start a registry on our rig as I think we've wheeled it enough and pull some maintance on it so we can say it's ours and that we've earned it and not just bought it.

Can't wait to see old faces and some new ones. OH YEAH Jason thanks for checking on wheels and tires for me. Just had to do the super swampers!!

We may bring some people with us to ride along.Kindof hope they change there mind tho we'll see:rolleyes:!! Open big mouth reget it later syndrome:p:

I'm feeling better today hope my brother is also!!!

Thanks Jon!!!:salute: Your the best!!!

So to say that I can't wait til may is an understatement!!!!

hmmm digging the new wheels there :D

Thanks dave! Not being a shiny person myself it's taken some getting use to them.:D:D As long as Joshua likes them I'm good to go.

Tires looks great! Should be able to really grab and go on the trails!! My rig will be ready by may its driveable now just not done completely I really need my rollcage installed and bed cage so I can mount both rear shocks, I did take it offroadn the other day and even with 31s was very capable, very pleased with it.

Been talking to a local company here. They have a fleet of older Jeeps & they sell Ice cream out of them. They can manage Ranch Road and hang for a few hours for us, and whomever else is out at the park. I am trying to decide what time of the day to have em out there. I was thinking in the afternoon hours, but what do you guys think?

MMMMMMM ice cream break while on Ranch Road that sounds tasty!!! I like it, can they have a cb so we can have them at every exit onto ranch road, Jk. But does sound good. Greg im iffy on next saturday still, I will keep u informed..

Pretty sure they have CB's already.

Our attending list isn't growing much, hopefully we get more as time goes on here.

If this was a sticky it might help a little. The latest Podcast was great for helping spread the word for both meets for John. Thanks to Dan & Russ for that. If you guys put a link in your signature, it will help spread the word as well.

Getting out to the park for a pre run to map some trail runs for us needs to be done, but we still have plenty of time for that. One thing for the guys that have small lifts is to have at least a LS rear, and good off road tires. Mud Terrains work best here when wet. Rigs that are open/open will have a hard time on anything rated 2+. May will be wet, as it really does not dry out fully until July.

Front & rear tow points, CB radios, are required. You do not want to be in the middle of a trail, get stuck, and have no way to communicate or no way of getting a strap attached.
