Your all going to laugh, but this was not my doing. The park owner just got a hold of me, and said he had to set up a MOROC event for the weekend we are planned to be there.

We have to change the date once again.

I am still working on this as I just now found out. He did say the following weekend was available, but I am pushing for an earlier weekend to avoid the heat. I will post up the weekends offered to us as soon as I hear back from him.

How hot is it in July

Last years meet was in July and it was unbearable hot.

Attendance suffered from it as well. I know a few who didn't go just because of the heat & humidity that time of year.

That gives time to get ready for Moab still, and gets this winter itch scratched!!

The owner is working on some Apartments real close to me here in KC.... I"m stoked it didn't work, sorry to those that this upsets but I don't want to miss this one!

I didn't think last year was too hot, but then again my current rig has no A/C so that might not be so fun.

Plus if we don't have Jakebrake then how would there be a party with no bus.

There maybe a chance that the Moroc event might not happen, but that is tentative for now.

1st weekend in May is open wheeling, Sent an email & I asked for it. When I hear back, I will update. Best I can do for now until we figure this out.

May 6-8 OR May 13-15 is available to us.

Anyone have a problem with 13-15th of May? I realize the TX meet is just 2 weeks before this one, but since were having troubles with the dates at the park, I understand if those of you decide to go there instead of here. If you could do both, great, if you can only decide on one, that's okay too. We all do what we can, when we can.

We could wheel in his HONOR just the same. I think he would dig that!!!!

I'm with Levi on July wasn't that bad. I had a nice fan blowing in my tent!!!

Honoring John would a fitting tribute. West coast Truck Haven, Southern TX run, and this Midwest meet, would have 2/3 of the country remembering and doing what he loved to do. Now if we could get a East coast meet to join in, that would be coast to coast!

The dates don't have to be the same, we can still have runs in his memory at diff locations and diff times.

I vote for May 6th-8th, finals start on the 16th so the 13th-15th is probably going to be a mad dash crammer style studying my a$$ of weekend. But I'd probably still try to make it down either way just not as much wheeling and would be headin back a lot sooner.

may 6-8th I want Levi to beable to make it. If not then I say april when ever,i just need to know when so I can let the baby sitter know she wont be needed that weekend!

Well now holed on I'm going to have to do some work on my rig before I can make this. And shouldn't go to frostbite but I am.

I don't see anything on the event Calender for April 22-24. Let me contact the park once again and find out if that's alright. They haven't updated the calender for all the events yet, so I need to check 1st.

Doing the best I can for you all, but at some point soon, I am just going to have to pick a date and stick to it.

That is Easter weekend I doubt they are open.
