...lol, the sway bars were gone about 9" ago...sway bars are for sissy's...lol..

...but i do already have a stock bump stop that will be going under the red one in the picture ...the previous owner wheeled the daylights out of it and believed it was meant to always be airborne...you can't see them but i also got limiting straps all around

Aha, Tbars that's a great thread, for a guy who just signed up in March you've got a lot of good stuff on here.


Is that a numbers game with close to 3,000 posts on here? You're making good use of the forum. I'm excited to see this explorer in person, it's got some stuff going on I haven't see. Is it going to Truckhaven on the 20th?

...lol, i have had many fords for over 30 yrs and have had to keep them on the road myself...i already have a couple stickies on here and i try to make my post as helpful as i can...plus i've been on a few runs this year so most of the post are there...

...ever since cleghorn and 2n17x my front pins that hold the calipers on have been walking out so i just changed them...they hit the bolt on the top of the shock hoops ...i don't remember any problem before i installed the locker and i'm wondering if we forgot to put a stop back on...i might weld up some steering bumpstops...:scratch:

...and today i just found another little problem, my rear brake cylinder is leaking and i've glazed one side of rears...hopefully this will end the random no-pedal i get every so often, lol...so i'm putting some raybesto's on the rear and the front's aren't ready for hawk's at least till next spring...

...that mod is not 100% decided which way i'm going but it will have to wait after truckhaven...i have a performance mod that should show up tomorrow a.m.....i have to wrap up my projects, do some late billing and try to get my funds together for the trip...

Looks good tbars. Gonna be a low buck event for me as well. Good thing i already have all the major stuff i need, stove, and other gear like that. And i wont be wheeling the explorer since its only a lowly 2wd lol.

Yep i am off this weekend actually getting ready to step out the door right now and head to work and be back friday night so i will be good for the whole weekend
so if ya got anything in mind post it up and i get back to ya tommorrow morning after I finish work and get to the hotel.
