I hear ya there cyber. For local wheeling where I go, I dont mind having 2 dif spares as we leave the spares behind at camp. For any trips away from the area, 4 same size tires would be the way to go. Since I have 6 good 35's now, I'm good there.
Keeping the stock 8.8 means not having to re-gear, or get another locker. It is cheaper to do the super 88 kit then get a FW 8.8 re-gear, & get another locker. The super 88 kit uses axles as strong as a D60, and uses D60 bearings with the c-clip eliminator.
If it were cheaper to do it with a FW 8.8, I would consider it.
