I was thinking today ( I know I shouldn't do that) about power plants in the explorer and off roading. What engine are you running?

5.0L, e-303 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, TMH headers, apten chip, and a Die Hard battery charger cause its always dead. :D

4.0 ohv, stock with origional trans, 355,000 kilometers,,
 






..."Project X" has a 4.0L OHC with lot's of goodies...:biggthump

..The "Squirrel" is rocking a 2.3L 'cause that's all it needs...:p:
 






dang there is no option for "turd"

settled for the 4.0 Pushrod special instead :D
 






4.0 ohv 189,000 miles with stupid top end knock but running strong
 






4.0 OHV but I just picked up a Eaton M90 to top it.
 
























stock 4.0 that is curently running like crap, and stock 5 speed trans. Does really good off-road with 4.56 gears and 35 inch tires, but is pretty slow and gutless on the street
 






Got a tired 4.0 OHV (172k miles), 5 speed tranny, and 3.27 gears pushing 31s....very, very slowly ;)
