I am really sorry I didn't get to ride in that while I was out there-I was just too wrapped up in awe.
I really like your truck guys. Nice find, and good work bringing it back.

the truck you rode home in, is an awesome ride! Hard to compete with that.
"icarus" has only just begun his journey in rebirth. So much had to be done to correct the flight problems. We only just figured out that the front springs will have to be replaced, they too were heavyly damaged in the flight he took.

The new front springs have arrived, as well as the new rear u-bolt plates.
But first things first!
Set up the RTI ramp to give us a base line.
Rear up he measures a 58 up the ramp for a score of 517.8571 on a 30 degree ramp.

Replaced the rear spring perch bottom mounts ans u-bolts went from 1/2" to 5/8" u-bolts. Gain a little more clearance as well.

I'll say, what are you gonna do about that funny thing in the way that holds gas :dunno:

hmmmmmmm lets see the gas goes in the arse the doubler attaches to the existing transfer case. That way I can keep the freeway gears for the street!

Are you thinking of leaving the new tank in the same location. Or... maybe to the old spare location? I vote for B.

The spare tire area is ocupied by 4 Fox remote resivor shocks, so I came with the idea of using a Sport tank, in place of the 4 door tank. He'll lose a couple of gallons, but gain the room for the doubler.;)

However I know this hasn't been done before, so it' will be intersting.

Plus the new is coming out of the "Red Baron" project.:D
