The article won't run until after October as that's the issue they are currently working on.
Today has been FANTASTIC so far. First thing this morning Doug (broncoIIguy)and I did some rock crawling together, then we took the whole group out for another run after that. I believe it's Chad in the Explorer Sport Trac with the SAS. He did a great job of climbing a BIG rock ledge and making it look very easy with his long wheelbase.
Steve, in his Bronco II busted a rear driveshaft on a hill climb.
After that run we came back for lunch, then we were out to the play field for three rounds of 4x4 barrel racing! Brandon, the site's owner set up three barrels. Our passengers had to drop a ball into each barrel as we tucked in as close and and fast as we could.
Low range, side by side drag racing was next on the agenda. Never played around like that before, but it sure was a good time. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
Next, we stopped for a group photo, then we were off to the other play area, where Doug attempted to crawl some huge tires, made it half way up the concrete pipes before high centering, and then flexed out his rig on the RTI ramp.
Chad also attempted the pipes, but his front mounted tow hooks were digging in to the concrete. He flexed out his SAS Sport Trac which did pretty well.
Pics to and video to come... It's going to take awhile.
Looking forward to a night run!
