the rear does sit high. its setup for 32 gallons of gas, 2 spares, jack, tools etc etc. i think there was 10 gallons of gas and nothing else back there for this trip haha.
yeah im gonna need it for the longer races. it was pretty fast and soaked up everything even though the shocks are pretty far off valving wise. but 13" of bump travel in the front and 14 in the rear helps alot with that.
If you want to keep it auto, why not run the stock 4r70w behind the 5.0 instead of a C6? I've heard that they're pretty strong, at least compared to the auto you currently have, and i would think it would be less expensive.
