02 Sport Trac 5.0 and Gas Tank

I have not heard anyone mention the gas tank in a 2002 Sport Trac for the 5.0 conversion. Did everyone use the original one in the Sport Trac? I now it has the fuel return where the Explorer (2000) does not. Appears the change it at the fuel filter to the tank and not any further toward the motor. A little variance on fuel pressure too. Anyone have any updates?

You can use a Wix filter or similar. I used one on my D21 w/ a 5.3L.
