Not to much.second job is coming to an end and my real job has been slow, had a problem in the machine shop!!ive finshed porting and polishing the lower mount and fuel rail.and sent of the maf
Ya, Ive been pretty bust with work also. Stupid work gets in the way. :
I have my m90, and fuel pump now, and have wideband, injectors (36lb) and maf on the way.
Hopefully, once I get wideband, and fuel pump installed I'll have the cash for the M90 mount assy from RPCaster.
Still no word from Tee-Rev on the rocker spacers. Sorry buddy. I'm holding off on fixing an oil leak I have till I get these also. When I installed my lower intake last time, I didn't run some sealant up the lower intake on the four corners that meet the heads/valve cover gaskets. I seem to be dripping from there. Once the rocker spacers show up, I'll do the whole shebang. Then, I'll be ready to move forward with the M90.
I have been using the 89 tune.
I did a trip to see my parents over christmas (6 hours each way), and my mileage was actually not very good (Iv experienced far better with this truck). This was at 70-75mph though.
I'm not sure if the tune gave me better low end power/mileage, and at higher rpm's mileage suffers a bit more? No idea.
Power between the 87 and 89 tune? Cant really tell. Might just be me. Anyway, Im considering going back to the regular gas tune.
No question my low/mid range is stronger now. Merging, and city driving I don't need as much rpm anymore to do the same job.
Maybe I'll notice the difference when I go back to the regular gas tune.
Yes on the SC build thread. I'm just holding off till I have parts and have to start figuring out how things are going to go together.
I'll be looking for a weekend install. Concerns me a bit.

If you want links for any stuff let me know.i say start one before you get it all unless you basically are buying or using alot of the same stuff as me yea a weekend install is out the question for me.the mount and charger may be on there but fuel pump, sohc pan and rockers/valve covers is getting put on before.also there will be some fab work for the intake manifold tube, its supports and sure other little fab work that will need to be done after the charger and mount is in there
Actually tunes almost always net more MPG. You will gain MPG while stepping up to 93 octane fuel and an accompanying tune for it. However, you also have to pay more for the fuel so sometimes it is a wash when looking at dollars spent per mile and sometimes you come out ahead. A tune is meant to recalibrate everything back into equilibrium amongst other things. If a tune is done right, even if it is solely intended for performance, it should give you added MPG too. There is no real such thing as a "gas mileage tune" unless you start messing with fuel stoich values but which is something that almost no tuners will do.
For you yes.you are using a ford tbird unit,im using a gm 3800 mine is a bottom discharge to begine with.they are very different units,my blades are longer and has the air bypass built into it
No im not doing my own port work on the charger.i wouldnt even think about it!!im gasket matching the lower mount.the square hole that the charger discharges into wasnt even square and had very sharp rough edges, didnt come close to matching the size of the gasket.then the 6 lower holes that go into the stock org lower intake manifold didnt match at all and had very sharp edges,i would guess he used a torch or plasma cutter to cut all the holes and never cleaned them up.i took and mounted a spare fuel rail on it and ported them both to match.on the stock fuel rail the ports start smaller then get larger, they are at an angle so i didnt really touch the part that mounts to the lower manifold just the part that mounts to the chargers manifold and i barley took anything off.but the holes in the charger where smaller and didnt align at all.i would post some pics but didnt take any before so you cant really tell what im talking about, for my charger 3800performance.com is doing my port and polishing.
